My day started at 6.30am yesterday... got up in the mornin n got ready to go to my sunts plc at bedok.... was to reach there ard 8am... kekek... kinda excited cos my cheche was so called the 1st among my grp of close cousins to hold the formal chinese wedding dinner even though the others haf oredi ROM. My 1st time being an ah yi too... hehehe.... been looking forward to this wor... hmmm.... got ready faster than usual n was already downstairs waiting for my parents.
Reached bedok abt 8.30am n was waiting for the groom. Audrey n Pebble were oredi there.... n they were like aiyoz now then u come ah... hee... Audrey was bz since 7am since she was the videographer.... Pebble was one of the 7 ah yis my cousin had... Hmm... got to know the other ah yis... n they were quite ok.... actuali i've met 1 of them... Joanne.... Basically, the others were ok... 2 of the ah yis immediately clicked with Pebble n myself.... guess we haf the same frequency lor...
Hee... was surprised to learn tt 1 of them was actuali married n has a 5 yr old son.... the other looks like a chiong-ster manz... very chor lor oso... funny too... Hmmm.... cldnt tahan one of the ah yis manz.... behaves n talks like as if she Knew it all... realised tt Pebble n Joanne didnt like her as well... Hahaha..... we haf a common target oredi...
We were like tinking how to sabo the groom when he comes n all... the "i knoe it all" ah yi wanted to make him drink this concoction made fr mixing wasabi n all the types of sauces.... kinda boring lehz... evyone oso doin tt.... we decided to make him drink this mixture made up of tiger, stout, vodka, brandy, light & dark sauce, pepper n.... err.... i tink a little of olive oil or smething like tt... no one dared to try it after evything was mixed... EEewww..... it smelled terrible....
When the groom finally arrived i was like Wahsay! U brought yr whole battalion ah? He was like arboh... brothers lehz... of cos must support me la... i was like oh is it? Good lor... then the chor lor ah yi was like u dun talk so much wat support support la... jus tell me how much u willing to give first then we can talk cock later.... Write for us 10 reasons y u like Jasmine.... n he was like wahlauz.... still cannot go in ah.... hahaha... in the end... he didnt manage to choose the correct lips cos none of it was hers.... told him tt he n his so-called brother of his had to drop 20 for us... kekeke.... it was like onli aft 30 min later tt we opened the door for him.....
The 4 of us then stood in front of one of the bedroom door n he was like walkin towards us n started singing smething we cldnt quite catch.... n we were like eh cannot push la... n he was like bo chap.... so ok lor we jus moved n let him in but Hahaha.... no bride there... n he was like wahlauz... kena twah! hehehe.... den we stood outside the correct room n told him tt upon jasmine's request...pls sing the cantonese version of mei tian ai n duo yi sie... he was like dun wan la... tis n tt... n we were like dun wan den cannot go in lehz... n he was like can get smeone to sing or not? n we were like No cannot.... u get smeone else to sing den tt smeone else can marry her lor... den he was like aiyoz... n started singing the 1st few verses... n we were like chorus oso pls.... n he continued n gave me tt face of his... hahah.... sorry lor.... me cannot help u today....
We left for the grooms plc abt 10.30am.... reached his plc n there were like onli Old pple there lor.... aiyoz... so boring lehz... all ah peks n ah sums.... *suGhz* Boring.... kekek.... had the tea ceremony n one his relatives gave my cousin these 2 superly thick gold bangles.... Pebble n myself was like piangz eh... handcuff ah? hahah.... jasmine was like giving us the same look too.... hahah... guess she also tot the same way... anyway we were done with the ceremony n all... stayed to eat smethings.... n after awhile later we headed for their new flat at punggol.... stayed there for awhile before goin back to my aunts plc for the tea ceremony.... hmm... managed to finish evything abt 2plus.... was contemplating whether or not to go with them to conrad or to go back with my parents... decided to go home n rest since we'd all be meetin at suntect at 6pm..... reached home n chged... took off my make-up.... Finally my pores were able to breathe! Heee.... msged Garry for awhile den HH called me... kekek... talked to him for short while den decided to take a nap.... was totally shacked manz... *sighz*
Oh ya.... forgot to mention tt Jamine n Joanne almost met with an accident on Thur abt 7pm or so when they went to collect the gowns n all....
Goodness! Jasmine's Hp was with me n we were on our to Sgoon Gdns to meet up with the others when he hp rang... answered the call for her n was talkin to this man. Told him tt my cheche wasnt ard n cldnt talk to him. Told him tt she'd call him back shortly n he was like can u tell her the damage cost $600. Told him tt i'll get her to call him again. Joanne happened to be in the same car n she was like who was it? Then aft tt she was like aiyoz... yesterday we almost met with an accident n related the story to us.... so happened tt they had jus collected their stuffs n was at the parkin lot arranging it in the car when this taxi jus drove staight n knocked into my cousins car n hit the car door which was open... Wahlanz! Wat was the freakin driver doin manz.... cldnt he see them or the fact tt the door was open? How cld he jus ram his cab into them?
Joanne was like sayin he stopped n got off the car n he had tt look on his face tt he knew tt it was his fault... jus when he was abt to say smething tis Ah lian came out of the car n started throwing verbal abuses at my cousin n Joanne.... Damn it manz! Wat the fuck was wrong with tt lian?! Was it even any problem of hers? Started accusing my cousin n asked if she knew how to drive or not.... Stupid Bitch! In the first plc... my cousin wasnt even driving... they were parked in the lot n the engine wasnt even on... Bimbo! According to my cousin, her tone of voice, posture n gesture gave evyone the impression tt she was simply tryin to pick a fight... my cousin was like u're in no position to talk to me this way as its of no concern of yrs..... so pls get out of my way.
The lian jus didnt noe when to back off..... she was like u dun come n talk big hor... .den told the taxi driver not to be scared if anything happens n all she will be his eye witness.... Haha... such a stupid bitch... eye witness to wat? The fact tt it was his fault n tt he was to compensate for the damage? The stupid bitch den asked for my cousins name n contact no. on behalf o the driver.... wat a ding bat... ask for name n contact no without gettin my cousins i/c no. or her car license plate! Dumb bitch! We were like so hot when we heard abt this... n went like wat was the lians problem? Too free or smething is it? Who scared of her? Jus cos she saw tt it was easy to eat Jas so she wants to eat her whole is it? She beta dun come n mess with our Jas or she'll noe wats in it for her manz..... The stupid driver kept callin n callin... so frus tt i had to call her husband to talk to him.... she was way to stressed up n shaken oredi... goodness! All this happened jus the nite b4 her big day.... who wldnt be manz.... Kailun den spoke to him n was explaining tt he was her husband n all... tried to be civil n told the driver tt they werent free to settle matters with him den n he kept insisting.... Anyway the driver called again.... den aft tt the drivers's son called... i spoke to his son n he was like kinda civil n all... hmm... sounded abt my age or slightly older.... hmm..... hahaha.... siaoz! Anyway told him to hold the line n passed the hp to kailun again... they spoke for awhile b4 the call ended n he passed the hp backed to me n said not to worry.... evything wld be settled... i was like hmm... tts wat u're for... u're 1st official duty as my cousins husband... kekek...
Got woken up by my mum n it was like 4+ oredi... alamak.... was supposed to be up by 4 to bath since i was goin with my mum to the salon to set out hair... aiyoz... bath n all den went to the salon... aft tt came home... did my make-up in record time... kekek... was like ready in less than 30 min manz... fastest i remember so far... Wei roro... me used the purple eye shadow tt came with the L'oreal mascara which i bought the other time lehz... kekeke... turned out quite ok.... hahah.... cldnt decide which shoe to wear since i recently bought so many pair... ended using the newest pair... kekek... mu sis was like wahlauz... y u papa mummy n granda all look like so formal ah? 1st time lehz... i was like haha... of cos la! Kekek... left for Conrad since my mum had to go to the hotel room to help cheche put on the crosang since she was wearin the kebaya for the tea reception... kekek... me went with audrey to suntec to meet up with Pebble who was waiting for us there...
Haiz... disaster started from here... dun undrstand why my cousin did arrange the seating allocation n all... made it free seatin... goodness! During the photo takin during the dinner at nite she was again being bossy n ya-ya... got fiona n myself to go n arrange the next table to be ready fr the photo yet when she went to the table she had to re-arrange the position again.... goodness this woman is reali smething manz... she actuali positioned herself so she wld appear in every shot. Such a bitch manz.... ArGh!!!
Evyone was in such a happy mood n all esp the happy couple... evyone was happily toasting them n drinking butshe kept tellin cheche not to drink... most of us were like wats her problem? She tryin to get the attention of evyone or was she tryin to be the goody goody sis-in-law in front of evyone? Oh pls la... U can sace the drama n act u put up la Belle! Evyone noes wat a bitch n pretender u've been since u married into our family! U can save it.... Tt explains y my gege hasnt been on good terms with her... Though he kept quiet abt things n neva speaks abt his heartaches n problems, it was obvious to all wat he has been going thru lor.... haiz.... Anyway, there she was tellin us not to drink but on the other side she kept drinking with the ang mos who were kailuns colleagues... Ha! Wat an actress.... When we cousins were drinkin she kept stoppin us... wats with her? major problem manz.....
Anyway..... me n a few ah yis were so gan chiong b4 the start of dinner cos we were tryin to untie the balloons for it to be ready for the 1st march in... kekek... supposed to throw it down when cheche n kailun walked in... kekeke... they were sayin tt it looked very nice from the bottom when the ballons floated down... hmmm.... so romantic sia... kinda fely nostalgic... most of the songs tt was being played kinda brought back memories sia... they played my song by Collin Raye smemore.... aaahhhh.....
Dinner went by ok... due to the free seating thingy me ended seating with Fiona, meimei n her husband n also with tis grp of aunties n uncles.... aiyoz.... din noe who they werr but they seemed to noe who i was. Who, when n hw they knew me, me oso dunno manz.... they jus kept talkin to me on n on non-stop n i had to like pretend n entertain them..... goodness.... was like whispering to fiona later on tt i haf no freakin idea who they hell they were manz....
Durin dinner me rec'd a msg fr Garry n YiHong..... Garry was like tellin me ttt there was gonna be roadblock all over Spore for the next 2 days... n i was like how u know... n he said tt Lawrence msged him n informed him... i was like hmm.... lawrence ah.... oh ok lor... wonder wat tt lamer's doin now... kekek... nt reali bothered oso... msged Garry ever nw n then... YiHong was like msgin me tt he's jus finished dinner at MSQ n tt he was goin to newsroom later... *hmPf* Been a long time since me went to NewsRoom liaos... Miss tt place manz... *siGhz* Anyway conitined drinking with my cousins.... piangz eh... we drank so much i cldnt even keep track of hw much we drank... hahah.... Tink we have been drinking for god noes how long when evyone was like finally stoned.... den we were like beta accompany jasmine back to her hotel room first.... den went to meet up with my parents n all.... halfway back there was a roadblock along little india.... hmmm.... they didnt even stop a single car lehz.... kekek... anyway me reached home n washed up. Settled dwn n was like gettin ready for bed when the alcohol reali took effect... Aiyoz... headache wor.... evything got kinda blur.... cldnt reali open my eyes n wasnt able to get to slp... *hMpF!!* Tink was kinda stoink oredi....
Called garry n talked to him for awhile... dozed off after awhile n he made me go slp... tried to... managed to slp for few minutes but kept wakin up cos felt so uneasy... heartbeat was beating too fast n felt so hot evywhere wor... rec'd a msg from my didi askin if i was aslp yet but i jus wasnt able to reply him... Sorrie wor....
Jus den YiHong msged me sayin tt he was home n had jus finished bathin n all.... called n talked for a long long time.... Tink tt tt was the longest conversation we've had.... Told me abt newsroom n all.... den i told him abt the weddin... hmm.... We ended the call cos he was hungry.... told him to go cook smething to eat den went to slp for 2-3 hrs n woke up cos hungry.... din eat much the day b4 since i was too bz... had lunch... den came back up to slp until almost 8 n went dwn... no one was home yet since my mum went out with 2 of my sis.... so had to wait for them to buy dinner back... So here i m now jus finished dinner not to long ago.... hmmmm...... Dunno y but i haf this feelin tt my auntie has arrived..........
