We have resorted to bringing in her playpen into our room so that she can slp next to Toby at nite... so far this is the 3rd day we're doin that and it works... she onli whines for a short while before she slps den its peaceful... hahah... even toby can slp well... :) n tamy slps thru the nite without wakin up to whine or scream... during the day, we even leave a small radio on in the kitchen with her... hopefully it will help to lessen the screaming...
Anyway we have been watching over the both of them rather closely the past 3 days... Tamy used to scream n get overly excited the minute we come home from work... Today, she's improved... at least according to Garry, she doesnt scream anymore... jus gets excited and wants our attention... but if we ignore her n not take her out from the kitchen after puttin our stuffs down, den she starts screamin... well... at least this is better than before la... :)
Also, we noticed that Tamy is always peeing at the same spot in the kitchen... and also in the toilet... hehehe... at least she doesnt do it everywhere in the kitchen... so now we will be puttin 2 pee pads... 1 near the washer drayer area where she always pees at and the other in the usual spot in the toilet. Hmm... she still makes mistakes when we let her out though... peein anywhere she likes... *siGH* I guess it takes time bah... she's jus 2.5mths and its only day 3...
Earlier tonite when i was folding her pee pad at the dining table... i saw her walk into the toilet to pee... den come out... n few minutes later walkin back in to poo... n both times on the pee pad... :) so happy... went to praise her when she came out... :) hehehe... Im praying that she will learn n remember to do this all the time n not occassionally... heheh... :)
So far there are some improvements la... minor ones but at least better than no improvement... Oh ya... She has learnt to eat fast too... we were jokin earlier when we saw the both of them eatin... as though they were competing to see who finishes 1st... hahah... the winner was Tamy who had a much smaller portion... but the minute she was done, she went to Toby's bowl lor... aiyo... cannot let her eat toby's BARF 1st or else her puppy kibbles would be wasted...
As usual... Tamy followed Toby Korkor wherever he went, played with his toys... and Toby KorKor had to be domineering and show Tamy meimei who's the boss around.... hahaha... :)
Garry n myself discussed about when to switch her to BARF and we sort of decided that we would switch her after she's completed all her vaccination... hopefully by then her kibbles would finish too... :) heheh... Im pretty sure she'll like it since she's tryin to taste her korkor's food... was telling Garry over dinner that I had a chat with Serene at work today and was tellin her abt our "ordeal" of having to bring the playpen in n out n folding n unfolding it as we use it to block the kitchen entrance and she suggested tt we shld get a child gate... hehe... =Þ
He seemed alittle puzzled and unsure at 1st... like wat the hell do we need the child gate for the dogs for... hahah... den later i was sayin... at least it beats havin to take the playpen n tamy's barangs in n out every day lo... moreover, should we haf a child next time, the gate would also be useful... heheh... den he was jokingly saying next time when pple ask us why we have a child gate at the kitchen entrance we will tell them tt its for Tamy... heheh... I guess I'll be discussin more about the gate with Serene pretty soon... :)
