~*~ Cheers to a Lifetime of Happiness ~*~

We attended Zhi's wedding on Sat (9 May 09). After all the hectic preparation, the end result was a blast. :)

Zhi~ I'm sure that u will remember your wedding day vividly even after years of marriage cos it's something u will never forget... Once again, Congratulations to the both of you... I'm so very happy that you're finally a Mrs and it's feels as if my own sister is now happily married to someone who loves her dearly.

The wedding wasnt a very traditional one and the groom didnt have to go to the brides place nor was there any tekan session... it was a very westernized wedding... so most of the jiemei's gathered in church to start preparing the reception area and to do a final rehersal for the kids as they walk-in to church. Then there was the customary tea ceremony held in 1 of the class rooms and lunch reception before the newly-weds head off to Changi Hotel where dinner was held for close friends at the Italian restaurant, La Cantina In Venezia.

On our way to church around 8am... *sleepy*

Shortly after Sharron, Ro and I setup the reception area, LianHoon and family arrived... Here's Elgin who was a little grumpy initially and after he warmed up... :)

Then the ring bearers arrived...

The flower girls and ring bearer... :)

Arrival of the bride who was so nervous... :)

Zhi and her dad as they prepare to march-in to church...

Terene & Cheryl as they march-out of church together as husband & wife...

Introducing our newly weds, Mr & Mrs Chan :)

Then it was pic taking time again :)

Our "family" picture... my parents said that they felt as if they've married off another of their daughters cos Zhi has been really close to us... joined our family for holidays and the occassional dinner at our place as well :)

On our way to Changi Village Hotel around 4+ in the afternoon... :)

We took a group pic after arranging everything in the restaurant... :) Time flies... we've known each other for more than 17 years. Sharron, Roro, Eugenie, Lian Hoon and I have known each other since primary school... Oh my!!~ tts like 20 odd years man...

It's great to have frenz whom we've know since young and be able to see each other thru friendship, courtship, heartbreaks, marriage and even until we start out own family... hopefully we'll be together when our children grow up n eventually have families of their own :)

A pic of jus the 3 of Us :)
