Wet Day!~

Jus before leaving home this morning, Toby followed me from the kitchen to the main door n since his daddy combed him after his walk, how could his mummy resist not snaping some shots before leaving the house... although she's running slightly late... hehehe....

Handsome fella... be a good boy as always ya... Mummy & Daddy Loves U lots...

Didnt manage to do much work during the 1st half of the day... Joelle came to work but she had some sort of a rash tt looked like chicken pox on her shoulder... told her to go see a doc even though she's had the pox bwfore... turned out that she's havin Shingles... aiyo... poor thing lor... she'll be on MC until thur n has to go see her gynae on fri to check... coincidentally, the company doc and her gynae were classmates... how much smaller can the world get? Rest well ya Joelle... dun wanna see u at work until next Tues wor... =Þ

Was gettin a drink when I saw Fionn showing Esther her new scheduler that she bought over the weekend... Hello Kitty sia... Angie sure like it... den when I went back to my seat, Shulynn oso said she bought her 2008 planner liao... wahlau these pple even faster than me sia... There I was tinking that it might be too soon for the 2008 planners to be out and yet there are others who have already bought theirs. Hmmm...

Told Angie that I needed to go Sistic to collect the tickets to Beauty World and that I wanted to go to ABnC to take a look at their planners. Started doin my web orders around 9+ and rushed to complete it by 11.50am... den it was lunch time... got some kind souls to tabao for the both of us while we went on our impt mission... Got stuck at the shop for more than 30min cos couldnt decide which planner to get... sickening lor... everything all sealed up sia... den only had some samples but it wasnt the ones that Angie and myself shortlisted... cos i wanted something that had the monthly calendar followed by daily n ending of with a memo page... but we couldnt choose to see which of the planners were in this format. In the end I saw the planner below and decided to get it... abit cartoonish but wat the heck... it's supposed to look fun lor... kekeke...

Was raining cats and dogs when we wanted to leave Bugis Junction to go back to office lor... piangz... good thing we haf our unbrellas with us... After lunch couldnt wait to use the planner I bought.... starts with Oct 07 and ends with Mar 09. Not too bad ah... at least can start using now... kekeke.... but had to control cos I haven started doin my emails den... heng ah the emails I got were nt too difficult... Managed to complete my quota for the day...

Left office with Chitra and we took the train back... Met garry at Yew Tee and as usual he was queuing to buy ToTo... hmm... in the end gone with the wind oso... wahaha... Anyway, went to get dinner before bringing toby down.... accompanied to 2 boys down today...talk and talk as we were walking... he was updating me abt what happened at work after being away for 2 weeks and I was doing the same... hehehe.... came home for dinner and was watching this variety show on Channel U... suddenly cant remember the name... something about looking for the prettiest and most handsome student on campus... Piangz... today's search was at SIM.... Err... Hhmmm.... I beta not comment to much oso... Pwui!!!

Hahaha.... the yakult auntie came today and as usual Toby was barking at her in the end decided not to hold him and let him go near her at the gate... KNS... tt boy action onli... go near onli start waggin his tail and standing on his hind legs at the gate... want the auntie to sayang him... CheY!!! Was talking to my Sara ver MSN and realised that TTSH hospital hasnt contacted me since the last time... WTF! I'm definately going to write another letter and shoot it to their CEO and COO directly without sending it to their Patient Relations Service Dept. I wanna see how long it will take them to reply me this time... and if they will reply at all! Assholes!!!

I guess I shall end here.... need to go meddle with my new planner liao... but come to tink of it... nw not reali in the mood oso... damn it...

HaPpiE BiRtHdAy MuMmY!!!~

Yeah it's mummy's bday today and we reached hougang around 12+ to get the car cos sending Toby for his grooming... while we were waiting for a cab at home, I took some shots of the messy boy who was so excited and couldnt really keep still as he knew we were going to go out.

Anyay on our way to the groomers at East Coast, the weather looked bad and the clouds were getting darker and darker as we approached Eunos... Den jus as we were along Telok Kurau going towards East Coast, we spotted the waterspout! Wah immediately took some pics of it sia... it was moving towards the left lor... den after awhile it disappeared before forming another...

Jus as we were about to reach the groomer's plc, it started raining so heavily and we couldnt really see... jialatz lor... Toby got abit excited cos it was raining so heavily and there was thunder lor... think he got kan chiong... heheh... anyway we reached the groomers and left him there... there were so many schnauzies there today lor... seemed like it was Grooming Day for M.Schnauzers man... hahaha...

Anyway went back to fetch Van and Sara before we headed to Compass Point for lunch. By then it was past 2pm and we were famished man! Had lunch at the food court when we bumped into cheche jasmin, kailoon and Joshua... so handsome that boy... thinner and taller now... lookin more n more like his parent... Oh ya there is Fox Baby and Fox Kids at Compass Point now... nice!~

After walking around for awhile, we went to cold storage to get something for mummy and den decided to get Muffins for the 2 boys since we were going to have cake tonite...

Heheh... jus as we were leaving Compass Point, RPP called to say that we could fetch Toby home... Rather fast today.... So we went home to leave the stuffs we bought before heading to East Coast once again... wah this time it was so sunny lor... the weather reali unpredictable in Singapore la... One minute so hot and dry, the next minute wet and cold... *siGh*

When we reached the shop, it was kinda chaotic man... so many pple sending their dogs for grooming and so many fetching those that are done... wahsay! There were even more schnauzies lor... And I think I saw Ebi there... but didnt say Hi to Ebi's ma cos didnt knw if that was her or not... heheh... but I'm pretty sure that it was Ebi leh... hmm.... resemblence can't be that identical can they? Hehehe.... Anyway Toby was so happy to see us... but as usual his beard was all so wet lor... haiz... that boy ah... but ok la at least he looks neater now... Poor boy must have been so tired cos after awhile he fell aslp in the car. We also went to collect the cake fr Frankel Ave before meeting Thea at her void deck to collect my masks from The Face Shop and then heading back home after a long day....

As usual when we got home, the 2 boys started playing with one another but as always, Toby started chewing on the milk bone and Terry looked like he was gonna take a nap. Managed to snap a pic of Mr Faggoty yawning... phew... wat a big mouth he has man! Hahaha... Played with the both of them for awhile and then lazed around...

After awhile, I decided to check out the tickets for Beauty World...

Initially, only Sara and myself were supposed to go for the musical but now all 6 of us would be going... hmmm.... was contemplating whether or not to get tickets for Mr Lee cos he did say that he didnt want to go watch and also commented that it was rather expensive... during this whole time, Mr Lee was being Sleeping Beauty upstairs lor so didnt go ask him again...

But I felt that since it was a Family outing then I tot he would be ok if I include him oso lor... but I still knew that Mr Lee would make noise at me for getting a ticket for him and true enaf he started nagging when I told him that we booked the tickets while he was slpin... he was like I told u not to get for me right? It's so expensive and U always neva listen... Hmmm.... Dar u can nag n nag at me as much as u wan la... u oso dunno how i feel... How often do we go out as a family with everyone around to attend such musicals?? It's not every day lor... n not everyone is always there... Anyway this is in Jan next year mah... *siGh*

Anyway... enaf about that, dinner was fantastic... all the dishes were my favourite... haha... dunno whose bday it is lor... anyway papa ate quite abit today... although he didnt take more than 5 spoons of rice, in between meals he ate quite abit... happy for him oso la... at least he's retaining whateva he's eating now... hmm... Van has to learn to be more patient with him and mind her tone n language when talkin to him or even to mummy lor... was abit fedup during dinner when she muttered something when papa burped... cos it sounded like he was gagging and abit to puke... *siGh*

She said smething like i tot u cannot eat rice y u eating now... should drink soup den slowly eat rice later wat... i was abit agitated and jus told her It's slow enaf! den suddenly silence lor... which is good oso la... *siGh* dunno how many times I haf to keep tellin them to be more tactful n not so rude lor... maybe I'm abit too sensitive but I can't helped it.... Wats over is over....

After dinner, we rested fr awhile before we had our Cake cutting session... hehehe.... sang the birthday song for our bday lady and as usual the 2 boys were walking around wondering if they had a share of the cake or not... TKK boys... The Carrot Walnut cake was yummy.... sugar free somemore... then papa & grandpa can eat... but its also kinda filling sia... hehehe.... lucky thing Garry n Me shared a slice....

As we were enjoying our cake, the boys were also enjoying their muffin... This Terry ate so fast that we had to make him sit in the living room while Toby finished his share... kekeke....As usual, after they ate and played both lay down and slpt next to each other... PIGS!~

The weekend flew past jus like that... Another week ahead... good thing wking 41/2 days onli cos fri we end wk at 12.30pm since Saturday was Hari Raya and Yippy! Monday our office is close... long weekend for me... I have to remember to collect the tickets to Beauty World tomorrow at the Sistic counter at Bugis... Hmmm... where is that ah? Aiyo... tink will ask Angie tmw... I guess I should end here liao... feelin tired and slpy oso... smemore tmw start wk at 8am... nt much diff from starting at 8.30am but... tat few minutes of sleep is beta than nothing... wait tmw I cant wake up when he wakes me up den Mr Lee will nag again... he oredi told me not to dilly dally tmw morning before he went to slp cos he needs to leave the hse earlier... and since I was to bath before him I beta not dilly dally lor... so till then...

Hehehe.... saw many nice clothes for girls but didnt know what Zena usually gets for Gabby so didnt get any for her.... I would have been spoilt for choice if I were to get any oso as there were so many cute ones...

Went hme yesterday and cooked dinner... yummy... mushroom soup, sausages, cheese shell pasta, brocolli and eggs... like a feast man.... Garry came back from camp last nite while van n myself were enjoying our feast... lucky thing he called me earlier to say he was comin back for dinner n not go for dinner with his campmates... or else no feast for u liao... hahah....

After dinner bathed Toby cos his daddy said he looks dirty and smelly... n oso said beta bath or else no taxi wan to fetch us on sunday back to houg lor... Hmpf!~ Anyway I oso wanted to bath him... cos wanted himto slp on the bed with us.. Kekek...

There's Lyn, Ryan, Mummy, Bernice, Myself, Alethea and the list goes on man... *tsK* *tSk* *tSk* broke liao... smemore I have 2 weddings this month.... sec sch fren smemore... close oso... and it falls on the same week lor... *peNgz* hahaha....

Received news from Joey that Emily gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Bernice weighing 2.8kg, yesterday at KKH at 11.22pm. Congrats ya!~ She was actuali at work yesterday and told us that her contractions were like 5 min apart since the day before... wah scare us sia... told her to leave office and go to her gynae... then she updated us that her gynae said that it wasnt time cos she was dillated yet... aiyo... so she went home and said she would get admited ard 1am or so but who knows little Bernice jus wanted to come out sooner than expected... kekeke... but ok la... no more swollen feet liao... =)

Hmm.... its been 3days and TTSH hospital has yet to get back to me since that guy called me... I will give them until noon time on Monday before I shoot another letter to them lor... taking too long... not even an interim update man... fedup again...

So far so good...

Well the rest of the day passed rather smoothly... managed to finish what was assigned to me by 4+... woo hoo... tt meant that I had like 1hr or so before we knock off... as usual, Angie mummy was busy looking at her motherhood forum n doing her online shoppin... for Ashley! Yeah!~ It's now confirmed that they would be the proud parents of Prince Charming!!!~ Congrats Mummy & Daddy! hehehe... this also means that Angie can officially start her shopping spree... hehehe... n I would definately help too.... kekek... But poor Joelle... still won't know if hers would be a Prince or Princess yet.... No worries... we will be there to help you shop when it's your turn!

Mummmy updated me earlier this evening that the scan results that TTSH took on grandpa looked ok... no blockage n nothing cancerous... so he'll be able to be discharged within the next 1 or 2 days... Thank God!!! Best news we've had so far... :) It's reali a relief man...

Anyway, I received a reply from this guy from the Patient Relations Service of TTSH regarding the complaint I sent in yesterday. Though I didnt leave my mobile... he had the initiative to track down my mum's contact number from my grandpa's medical files and asked for my contact number... so far so good... At least he called to acknowledge receipt of my email... well... i guess he would have to do that since that email was sent not only to the forum and stomp but also to the CEO and COO of TTSH... of cos they had to do something like give me an interim... Well... I'll be expecting to her from them again...

Cooked sambal fried rice for dinner today n it was gggoooooodddd! hehehe.... A fren passed this reali cool jap clip to me...

Complaint Letter to TTSH

Nothing much happened at work the past 2 days. As usual there were the normal ups and downs... as expected, the email team had their own problems to deal with as well... nothing different from how it was like when I was under the cash team... same TL wat more can u expect... It's 9.30am now and I'm still waiting for the allocation email to be sent to us... *siGh* So wat else can I do besides updating u guys rite? heheh...

I finally got down to writing my complaint letter to TTSH yesterday afternoon at work... Chitra sat next to me and we were trying to phrase evything nicely... after she left I was still fine tuning it before send it to a few people... Anyway, here's how my complaint letter looked like...

Dear Staff of TTSH,

I am writing to you with regards to an unpleasant experience that my family and I had to endure when we were at the A&E Department on 29 September 07 (Sat) approximately between 2.30pm to 6pm.

My grandfather, Mr Khoo Cheng Ban Barnabas, had a referral letter by our family doctor as she suspected that his condition was not favourable. As such, we visited TTSH's A&E department at about 2.30pm to register him to be examined.

As the hospital’s policy stated that only 1 visitor was allowed into the A&E area with the patient, only my mum accompanied him in while I was at the waiting area with the rest of my family members. Due to the crowd, they had to wait for about an hour or so before my grandfather was being able to be examined by the doctor, who then suggested that it would be advisable to admit him for further observation.

While we were waiting for the admission, my mum decided to leave our maid with him instead as the waiting was taking too long. Due to the hospital’s policy, she then approached the nurses at the screening station to change the tags between herself and our maid.

As it was our maid’s 1st time at the A&E, she wasn’t sure of where to go as the nurses had earlier wheeled my grandfather to the “waiting area”. Because of this, my mum wanted to accompany her in to show her where my grandfather was so as to ensure that she did not get lost and that my grandfather did not end up being alone.

My mum then approached your security personnel, Mr Raymond Ho, who was standing at the entrance around 5.10pm, to ask if she could bring my maid in to only show her the way to the “waiting area”. However, instead of being tactful and polite in his manner of answer, Mr Ho replied and I quote "No No cannot only 1 person can go in. We cannot allow more than 1 person to wait with the patient. You think this is a Sunday City Walk is it?"

My mum was taken aback with Mr Ho’s sarcastic reply and asked him how was she to be assured that her maid knew exactly where to go and not end up lost as there were more than 20 patients waiting to be warded at that moment. My mum is aware and understands that only 1 visitor can accompany the patient; however she also explained to Mr Ho that she needs to make sure that everything was ok and that her maid was with her father-in-law before she leaves the both of them. Once again Mr Ho snapped back "No no cannot!" and instructed my maid to follow the blue arrow which would eventually lead her to the “waiting area”.

My mum then came over to where we were and related this incident to me. I advised her to approach one of the nurses to ask if she could accompany our maid in again as she was worried that our maid wouldn’t know where to go. After much persuasion with the nurses, 1 of them finally agreed to bring my mum in. Just as what she had expected, while walking in, my mum spotted my maid standing at a corner looking lost and didn’t know where to go to look for my grandfather. After having to go through this whole ordeal, my mum was finally able to direct her maid to where my grandfather was before coming out to meet us.

Please could you address the following and also advice me on the measure / actions that would be taken to rectify it.

1) Have or will your security personals and other staff gone or will go through any form of training / course to ensure that they are equipped with the ability and knowledge on how to react to such a situation and liaise with visitors or patients of the hospital?

2) I understand your 1 accompanying visitor per patient policy and appreciate that the hospital is trying their best to take the necessary precautions. However, Mr Ho could have been more empathetic and tried to understand the situation on hand on that day instead of passing such an uncalled for comment. He should have also listened and understand what my mum was requesting instead of putting her down.

As mentioned earlier, our maid was unable to locate where my grandfather was before my mum found her. Who then should be responsible if my grandfather had needed one of us to be with him on that day during that point of time? Who would also be responsible should anything happen to our maid or if she had gotten lost?

3) Visitors who are accompanying the patient into the A&E area are asked to wear a wrist tag. How does your security personals know which visitor is being tagged to a patient as there is no indication on the wrist tags and there were many people wearing wrist tags walking in and out the A&E area at any one time? I noticed that no checks were done to ensure that the hospital’s 1 visitor per patient policy was carried out religiously.

4) If your policy states that only 1 visitor is allowed per patient because the hospital is afraid of contamination that people would be bring into the hospital’s vicinity, how does this apply to the police officers, hospital helpers, civil defence personnel or even the cleaners stationed within the hospital as well as those who come in due to accident or criminal cases?

Are they not walking in and out of that area the whole time? No worries about them not being contaminated? Or just because they are wearing a uniform or have a hospital tag on a lanyard around their neck or a stethoscope hanging around somewhere does it mean that they are an employee of TTSH or a person of authority and can walk in and out freely? Is there any rationale to this? Does this imply that if anyone has a uniform, hospital pass or some equipment hanging on me means that they can also walk in and out that area freely?

Your Mission states that TTSH reaches out to the community by doing your best to serve, care and heal. And together, you aim for excellence in cost-effective healthcare, education and research.

Your values – Compassion which is your paramount concern about the welfare and well being of your fellow human beings. And that you sympathise with those struck by illness and suffering and will do your best to help alleviate their conditions.

Collegiality - You nurture success by promoting collaboration, participation and trust between individuals and other healthcare organisations, within an environment of sharing and mutual respect.

Respect - By treat everyone with honesty, decency and fairness.

Integrity - You are committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Social Responsibility - You contribute positively to the well being and welfare of the community.Professionalism - Committed to being the best in what we do, and achieving the best possible outcomes for your patients

Looking at your Mission statement and Values, I regret to inform that not everyone within your company practices what your mission and values preaches. It only takes 1 black sheep to tarnish the company’s image. Perhaps, it would be beneficial to your company, to send your staff for counselling or courses to educate them on how to communicate better. After all, a hospital is also a service provider and people from all walks of life and countries do visit TTSH be it to get treated or visit someone. I’m sure this is not the kind of impression TTSH would like to leave imprinted in the minds of patients or their visitors.

We can understand that precautions and measures have to be implemented and carried out so as to maintain order and also minimise any form of contamination within the A&E Area. However, we are utterly disappointed with the way we were treated by Mr Ho and how this whole situation was being handled. I am also appalled with the kind of behaviour exercised by him.

No one goes to the hospital for no reason and especially not for a “Sunday City Walk”. Besides coping with the stress, grief and urgency on hand, we do not need external factors such as what my family had to put up with to agitate and anger us further. I hope that this is an isolated incident and I believe that no one should be given this kind of treatment. I also hope that the next time Mr Ho says No to anyone, he truly understands the situation on hand.

Unfortunately, my grandfather is still warded in TTSH and due to this unpleasant incident, we are now worried about the treatment he receives from the staff of TTSH. I certainly hope that something would be done to educate your staff as well as improve the service provided and that this feedback will help TTSH move forward.

Yours sinecerely,

Ms Rachel Khoo

~*~*~ Monday Bluez ~*~*~

Woke up earli this morning and brought Toby down... wahsay! So much sai lor... kekeke... good thing is that we did not bump into any dogs this morning... aaahhh... peaceful walk... :) went home and bath for work... for the 1st time I didn't have to rush to prepare to go to work in the morning... kekeke... thank god I'm still working the 8.30am shift this week.

Reached ofc kinda earli so went to the mobile van to get bee hoon for myself and char siew pau for Angie... on my way in from the back enterence, I saw this cockroach on the floor next to the door... hehehe.. the minute I went in I told Zena that there was a cockroach at the back... den she can inform the rest. There are a few ladies in ofc who are terrified of these creatures... hehehe...

Nothing much happened in ofc today beside the fact that our Drag Queen Esther came back from her leave... voice still so sexy sia... hehehe.... did emails the whole day but jialatz i tink i was abt 4 or 5 emails short of hitting my quota for today... *siGh* can expect to receive a letter from my cash TL tmw liao... KNS! HmPf!! What the hell man! Not in her team oredi but still kena "report" to her the past 3 months... Damn it!

Anyway, Angie and me were talkin to Esther for quite a while... was supposed to go make tea but in the end got stuck there... talked abt her home n reno... so exciting... heheh... she's onli started but oredir dreading... come come esther employ me n Garry la... cheap cheap... charge u sista price onli... jus for you... hehehe...

After lunch, went back to the table and Chitra and Shulynn were busy playing with the bibble makin thingy... those old school kind of balloon blowing... kekeke... this Chitra as usual was making funny shapes out of it... and this time it was a bear...

As usual, I was fooling ard with my cam after work before leaving office and decided to take a pic of the 3 of us throught the red glass wall to see what kind of effect it would be like... kekek...

Took the train home with Esther today as she was meeting David and contractor somewhere in Clementi to discuss abt her house reno thingy... after she got off, msg Van and asked what she wanted to have for dinner. In the end we decided to meet at Lot 1. Since I was there before her, I walked around BHG and Watsons... Guess wat I saw there? ~*~ One Discharged The Other Admitted ~*~

Just came back from sending Mummy, Sara and Nurul home... and yes we drove back again cos tmw we would be fetching them before going to the hospital... and yes again... Papa was just discharged on Fri afternoon and on Saturday afternoon, grandpa got admitted into TTSH. *siGh* What's happening to our family? The only 2 men in the family are taking turns to be admitted... I keep thinking and asking myself what's wrong? Have we done anything wrong? What have we not been doing? What have we done to cause such things to happen to us...

Went back to hougang and after lunch we brought grandpa to TTSH's A&E waited for abt an hour or so before he was able to get admitted... during this time we were waiting outside and saw so many emergency cases and pple coming in via ambulances as well... but something happened that reali got my blood boiling... when grandpa was waiting to be admitted, I asked mummy to let Nurul wait there with grandpa and then we can go for coffee... so she checked if 2 pple could go in to the A&E area but was told that only 1 accompanying person could be with the patient as they didnt want too many pple walkin in n out of the area as they were afraid of contamination n such... fair enaf that we can understand. So she exchanged her tag so that Nurul could get hers n be with grandpa...

However, as it was Nurul's 1st time there and she didnt know where to go to look for grandpa, mummy asked the security personnel if she could accompany Nurul in to show her where to go n to make sure that evythings alright before comin out again as she would be stayin at the holding area. Instead of being tactful and polite in his manner of answer, that blardy swine of a security jus said and I quote "No No cannot only 1 person can go in. We cannot allow more than 1 person to wait with the patient. You think this is a Sunday City Walk is it?"

Wah when my mum heard this her blood reali boil sia... of cos at that time we were not with her or rather I was not with her... we were still waiting for her at the waiting area or else I would have definately given it to that asshole... She was so fedup with his reply and asked the security how was she to know if her maid knows where to go and doesnt get lost in the holding area... she needs to make sure evything is ok and that her maid is with her father-in-law! And again that swine jus said "No no cannot!". Mummy came back and told us what happened and the minute i heard what she said my blood boil n I was damn fedup...

I told mummy to go to the nurses and ask again... My mum then walked away and went to the screening station near the enterance to talk to the 2 nurses to ask if she could jus go in. Initially, they also said cannot but they explained that they were taking the necessary precautions as they were afraid that there could be contamination n stuffs like tt... so fair enaf but my mum explained her rational for wanting to go in for just awhile and in the end 1 of the nurses said ok but she would have to bring her in and only to a certain area... fair enaf... so mummy went in with her and true enaf, our dear Nurul was standing at a corner and didnt know where to go... lucky thing the nurse allowed my mum to go in or else god knows how long she would be standing there man... in the end mummy passed her grandpa's medicine and left her hp with Nurul and told her to call either Sara or myself in case there was anything.

Throughout this whole time, Garry, Sara and myself were still at the waiting area but we were talkin about that swine... more like i was talkin abt that swine cos i was damn pissed... I mean how could a security personnel reply in such a manner... Who does he think he is? He's just a freaking asshole who is waiting to retire and standing there doin nothing jus makin sure that only visitors with a wrist tag goes in. How the blardy hell would he know how many visitors per patient was walking in and out of the damn place? There was no checking done anyway... what kind of security personnel was he? Or rather what kind of security check was there?

Damn it... the more i recall the more du lan i get sia... If they say only 1 visitor per patient cos they are afraid of the germs, bateria or contamination that pple would bring into that area, then what about those cleaners, police officers, hospital helpers and civil defence personnel? Are they not walking in and out of the area the whole day? Are they not carrying with them germs, bacteria or contamination with them as well? What?! Jus bcos they are wearing a uniform or have a hospital tag on a lanyard around their neck or a stethoscope hanging around somewhere means that they are an employee of TTSH or a person of authority and can walk in and out freely? What kind of rationale is this? So can I simply conclude that if I have a uniform, hospital pass or some equipment hanging on me means that I can also walk in n out that area freely?

Blardy fucking asshole... I was so pissed I told Garry that I will be writing in formally to lodge a complaint. Is this how a representative of TTSH speak to a visitor/patient of TTSH? Is this what we are paying for with the increase in medical fees, for medicine and workers of the hospital so that hospitals could employee such tactless and rude secruity personnels who stand there just to occupy a space within the hospitals vacinity? When Garry heard that I was going to lodge a complaint, he asked if any of us had a pen and we said no. Before I knew what he was going to do, he immediately stood up, walked towards that asshole and stood directly in front of him and looked as his face, then his hospital tag and then back at his face and after that simply walked away. Wahsay! Sara and myself was shocked initially as we didnt know what he was going to do. Then we started laughin as that asshole had a really blur n worried look on his face after Garry walked away.

Though I was still fedup I couldnt help but laugh at that expression. When garry came back I asked where he went and he said to find for a pen cos he wanted to write the name of the person down. In the end, he recorded that assholes name and time into his handphone. It was such a waste that I didnt have my cam with me or else I will surely zoom and take a pic of the ass! I guess that asshole can wait to receive a call from his supervisor after I'm done lodging my complain. I would definately want an explaination and corrective measures to be implemented by TTSH over this incident. This sort of behaviour from any staff should not be condone. Is this the kind of service that TTSH provides?

After this whole incident, we decided to go to Ah Seng's place for kopi and to eat something... as usual, we ordered Milo peng and Kopi peng... also ordered the char kway teow and hokkien mee to share... the hokkien mee not bad... chilli nice oso... jus when we were finishing, Nurul called to inform that grandpa is being wheeled to a ward... wah this time so fast... so we drove back to TTSH again... when we were walkin past where tt asshole was standing to check on the ward and bed number that grandpa was admitted into, we were surprise to see that the asshole was no where to be found. Good riddence to him man!

This aside, after grandpa was admitted and checks done by a junior doctor a interns, they suspect that there is a blockage in his large intestine that's causing the bloatedness around his stomach... they had to insert a tube from his nostril down into his stomach so that they could suck the fluid out... Obviously he felt pain and discomfort during that ordeal and as usual he shouted at the nurses who were trying their best to make it less painful n all... *siGh* thank god there were understanding and knw that this is part and parcel of what they have to encounter.... I salute them man...

Anyway doc said that only after the fluid has been sucked out can they insert something... i cant recall the name from the bottom to make him pass motion n drain whatever that is stuck in there... once the bloatedness and blockage has been taken cared of, the next thing they want to do is to check why he has constipation and has to keep taking Senokot to enable him to pass motion... *siGh*

The whole process of this must be damn painful as they have to insert a scope into your rectum to check... either that or they have to insert smething so that an x-ray of the rectum and colon can be taken to check if there is any growth or cancer around that area. *siGh* Poor thing... why must an old man go through all these... I'm sure grandpa must be scared... he was supposed to do this check the last time he was admitted but he insisted that he didnt want to cos I think he's afraid of the pain and wateva the results are but i guess there is no running away from it for him this time round....

Why why why must so many things happen over a short period of 2-3weeks!?! One after the other... =( I really pray and hope nothing is wrong with grandpa... One sick person in the family is more than enough for us to handle... I can't imagine if there would be another... worried that all these complications that grandpa is having could be a result of colon cancer or something along that line... Another worry at the back of my mind is someone else's bood test results... which would only be out around the last week of October... Hopefully evything turns out ok... and not be another Big bday present for both of us man... 1 such "Bday" present in September is more than enough for any of us to cope with...

He's finally home~

Papa has finally been discharged from hospital yesterday afternoon and is resting at home now... He's on another weeks MC. At least that beats stayin in hospital... at home can rest properly and watch tv... I am however sad and disheartened that things have come to such a stage and why it all happened in the first place... It's difficult for me to talk to anyone about whats happened besides my mum and Garry who knows what has really happened... but at least there are these 2 who will always share the same sentiments as me... Sorry guys its really too personal for me to share but what I've shared with some of you so far is part of what's happening... no lies or cover-ups... it's part of what my dad's suffering from...

On my way home from a small shopping spree at BHG with Angie after work last nite, I msged Garry to update him on the situation and I didnt expect him to get so affected by what I told him cos it reali dampened his spirits in camp... he was just awarded Best Platoon Sergant and was getting his award at the time when he received the "news"... It's heartening to know that Garry was allowed to come home from camp last nite when he told his PC that something happened at home. No questions asked even. Even though he couldnt do much by then, he still came home just to be with me...Thanks for jus being there, your support and encouragement Darling~

Mummy called this morning and said that she brought grandpa to Dr Tang earlier on bcos of his bloated stomach, the diaorhea he had last week and to check why he is always feeling tired all the time... Dr Tang said that she could give him medication on the bloatedness but she thought it would be better if we sent him to A&E to do an x-ray n check what's wrong as she's worried that it could be that somethig is stuck in the big intestine thats causing all these... since papa is too weak to be driving... we will be sending them to A&E. *SiGh* One come home another gets admitted...

Will be going down to Hougang now... with Toby... till my next update u guys take care...
