~*~ Xmas Deco ~*~

What a week this has been... so tiring... working OT on 2 days a week is no joke especially if u start work at 7.30am... Thank god tts over! I've made up my mind that I won't be doin anymore adhoc OTs from now cos I will be simply too busy preparing for Xmas... Weekends will all be burnt so weekdays gotta come home to rest and chill! HmPf! den busy clearing stuffs at home... As promised, I've uploaded the pics of the mess at home... hehehe...



Anyway that mess is now cleared as of last nite.... I also mentioned in my earlier post about Esther giving me clothes for the 2 boys rite.... well... Toby was only able to wear 1 outfit and it made him look like he was wearing skirt... and Terry... what more can i say sia... the pics says alot oredi... hahaha... in the end we had to return the soccer jersey to Esther... :)

We had dinner at the coffeeshop opposite and came home to start cleaning the house.... the boxes are finally cleared... and YES!!! My Xmas tree is up... hehehe... was takin out the 2 reindeers we had and Toby started getting all curios as the reindeers were as big as him.. in fact the one standing was taller than him...hahaha... tt frightened him alittle... den when we were deciding on the color ornaments that we would be using this year... Mr KPO was also busy sniffing all the ornaments... as though doing some king of QC check lor... piangz...

The time came for setting up the tree and he started sniffing the leaves as we were sorting out the sizes... goodness he must be thinking "YiPpy! Mummy and Daddy planting tree in the house for me to pee on!!" HA! Dun you dare ah boy... hehehe.... Toby jus kept circling round us and the tree while we were setting it up... he must be tinkin... wah... so nice have balls on the tree for me to play with somemore... jus when we were arranging the lights on the tree he siply sat at one corner n kept lookin at the light blinking on the tree... kekeke...

Finally the tree's completed and planted jus at the right spot in our living room... hehehe... cant help but keep admiring the tree... but we'd still be gettin some ornaments cos there are a few lobangs here n there... kekeke... oso gettin some other deco to spice up the whole plc for our party... :) Anyway, here's how this year's tree looks like...

Been rather busy of late so didnt have much time to blog... if only there were 48 hours a day n not 24hr... have so much to do but limited amount of time. Realised last week that it was almost mid month and I had yet to prepare for my xmas party! Goodness!~ Can't imagine the amount of cleaning and preparation that had to be done on top of the usual stuffs....

Thank god for having started my xmas shopping way way in advance... kekeke... call me K.S. but thank god for being K.S man... heheh... :) not that I've completed my xmas present shopping but at least I'm more than half way thru the list... Decided that we were going to keep a spreadsheet of the food items, the guestlist for the party as well as the list of who to get presents for since this was a yearly affair... at least this way we dun haf to crack our heads every year to think of wat to get...

We've just started cleaning part of the house... the study room... the dining area... and also the store room lor... hahaha... can u imagine the amount of stuff that Garry threw out last nite? It had been in there for like almost 2 yrs... told him that since it had been in there and we didnt knw its existance den it meant that it wasnt in use so dump the damn thing... hahaha.... dun tink so much or else we will be like a garang guni man... keepin n keeping and accumulating more junk over the years...

I reached home to a house full of boxes and plastic bags... the whole living room area and part of the corridor to my dining area were filled with boxes lor... i was asking Garry if we had jus shifted in... he was sayin that the boxes n plastic bags were actually the xmas deco... *pEngz* took some pics of the whole plc and will upload it the next round...

Looks like we haf to get the ornaments that we want to use this year sorted out next weekend... bought some new ornaments from concourse last weekend... Color theme for this year... Bronze, Gold, Pink and abit of purple... :)

Apart from all these, Toby was happily playin with his toys amidst the mess! Goodness... this boy forever entertaning himself with his squeky toys no matter how messy the plc is or how busy the both of us are... kekeke... Garry was sayin that there he was busy cleaning the house the whole day, Toby kept following him up n down inspecting what he's doing... smelling everything that was taken out of the store room... hahaha....

Anyway Esther FINALLY remembered to bring Dino's clothes for Toby.... but sad to say, Toby could only fit in one. But ah.... he looked like a girl lor... hahaha... when he wore it, it looked like he was wearng cordroy rompers!!! Goodness!! Took some pics of him in that oso... and will upload it the next round...

It's finally Friday lor... going back to Houg tonite and papa's coming to fetch us ard 7pm to go back for dinner... YiPPy!~ Tmw we're going JB!!! Hehehe... When we get back on Sun, we're going Ikea... gotta get quite abit of stuffs there... k la... gotta start work soon...almost 8am liao...

~~~ Counter Offer ~~~

Weekend went by so fast... went to Hougang on Sun and drove off to send Toby & Terry for grooming at RPP as usual... kekek... Toby looks handsome again... also booked his next grooming appt on 22 Dec... hahaha.... KS lor... but bo pian... Xmas mah... beta book nw before all the slots taken up... plus me gonna be so bz with the Xmas party plannin and all... this time we gave Terry a very short cut... heheheh.... nw looks so neat oso... :)

After dropping Toby & Terry at RPP, we went to Mt Vernon to visit granny and grand nanny since it was All Soul's month... the catholic month equavilent to Qing Ming.... after that we went East Coast Park lor... long time since we went there... even grandpa and Nurul came along... heheh... had some sea breeze before heading to the Hawker Centre for food.... Jus as we left East Coast, RPP called to say that the 2 boys were ready for collection... =)

Well well well.... Garry tendered his resignation on Friday and his immediate boss, Ricky was surprised when he received the white envelope frm him.... hehehe.... so sudden meh? Anyway Ricky immediately went to see his boss about the matter and shortly after, the big boss became aware of the resignation... wahsay... spread like forest fire ah... hehehe...

Anyway, Garry was called in for a meeting with Ricky and his boss and was counter offered a salary... I must say which came as a surprise for us... cos we did not expect his company to be able to meet what the new company was offering... hehehe.... as though the new salary they offered wasnt enaf...

After much contemplation, I told Garry to ka ka ask for what the new company was offering him jus to try his luck since it has been good so far.... if they could offer him that much a jump in salary I'm sure another 100 or 2 wouldnt make such a dent into the company's account. He then sms Ricky about it and was told that he had to check with his boss whether it was feasible or nt...

So ok la... we waited for a confirmation... and finally today, his boss agreed to give what he asked for... hahaha.... steady la... =) so it looks like the deal has been sealed and Mr Lee would stay on... Happy for him and for me oso... hahaha.... means I get to relax abit liao... hahaha... and also get to buy more things le... YiPPy!~ My LV wallet here I come.... =D

We have also decided to not buy the Altis for the time being since we didn't have the urgency to get it now... *siGh* Shattered dreams... *sOb* *SoB* There I was thinking of what we could do, the places we could go with Toby... n now... all those can only remain in my dreams.... ="( We decided to give ourselves about 6 months or so to clear as much debts and also decided to put aside the same amount we had to for the car instalment to test water... if all goes well.... we'll then get a car sometime in April next year.... *DaMn!~*

~*~ It's A New Start ~*~

Went back to work on Wed but the moment I stepped into office my nose started giving me problems... after awhile, due to the aircon, I started having difficulties breathing... *siGh* in the end, Cheng Yee told me to go see the doc and go home and rest... Left office around 9am but not before the gang at work wished me Happy Birthday!~ Hehehe.... so nice of u guys... Thanks for the D.P Vouchers ah... Nw can go shopping oredi... but what a way to spend my bday man... had to keep popping pills every 6 hours lor... =S

Anyway went back to Limpang to see the doc and told him that I was actually on 2 days MC and just went back to work but was told to go home... he gave me 2 kinds of flu med... 1 to be taken during the day which is non-drowsy and another to be taken at nite... this was the drowsy one.... He also gave me 2 more days of MC... wahlau this is my 1st time havin 4 days of MC in a row man... reali so sick sia... Sometimes I really wonder if the medicines are effective or nt cos I dun seem to be gettin better... =(

Oh ya forgot to mention that my buddies gave me Tiffany & Co vouchers for my bday... YiPpy!~ Can start lookin for a new bracelet liao... hiak hiak hiak... need to check when it expires though... hopefully not too soon...

Garry went for interview yesterday and surprisingly he was offered the job immediately... He himself was surprised that the MD who interviewed him offered it to him so soon... of cos they couldnt match what he was asking for but what they offered was attractive enaf for him to take up the offer... hehehe... actually Garry also had doubts and couldn't decide initially but I tink the car allowance was 1 of the factors that made him xing yang yang to want to take up the job offer lor... heheh... cos he told the MD that he was driving now and is getting allowance for it... *pEngZ*

At least the basic they offered is higher than wat he is gettin now and on top of that he would be getting the car allowance which is not CPF deductable! Woo hoo.... we can finally get a car liao... hahah.... den can bring Toby out more often for gatherings and dog run liao lor.... We had to work around the budget that this new company was offering him and finally decided to get a Toyota Altis in Medium Silver Metallic, which is the color below...



The other colors cannot make it la... either too biang or too ah chek.... the Red Mica Metallic oredi driven by my bro-in-law so we didnt want to take that color as well... it was either this or black... but Mr Lee said Black not so nice which I agreed oso la... hehehe.... It was Love at First Sight when I saw this color at the showroom... Woo hoo.... now jus cant wait to get the car so that I can add my barang barang... hehehe.... and also I can buy the seat belt to be used in the car for Toby liao... YiPPy!!!~ =D Oh ya and also the pad for him to sit on so wont dirty the car seat wor...

Goin down to Borneo Motors to meet Val who is finalising our order this Sunday... Hopefully by the time we successfully bid for the COE, the license plate would be SJA liao... instead of SGZ... Hmmm... but rather unlikely wor... but who cares sia... got car can liao... Tink we will be able to get the car by mid Nov... which is 2 weeks from now... hehehe... Haf to tuck aside my dream car in a cozy corner for now and be contented with our Altis.... When can we own a Honda Accord Euro R wor... wahahah.... Skali by the time we can afford this car model scrap liao... heheheh....

The past 2 days have many significance... 31 Oct - Moi's Bday & D day tt Garry had a new job offer... and today 1st Nov - Is Sara's Birthday!!~ Happie Birthday Ms Chicken Backside!!!! =D Be wise, be good, be obedient, be be be.... just the way u are all the time ah.... It's also D day we decided which car to get....

Tmw's friday liao... so fast... still hafin flu and blocked nose but I tink beta not take MC liao... wait kena blackmark in ofc sia... also tmw's the day the RiteNow Team is supposed to have dinner after work... How to not go to work like tt rite? Aiyo like so gian peng sia... worse come to worse I shall jus spread the love to all who come in contact with me... kekeke... but of cos I will be stayin away from the 2 mummies in office... not a good time to be fallin sick for them... hehehe... Garry will be going back to work tmw to tender his resignation as well as to apply the balance days of leave that he's entitled to... wonder what his colleague's reaction would be tmw... hehehe...

:::-- Attack of the Flu Bug --:::

Symptoms of the flu virus started showing while i was at work on Friday but then it was kinda mild and I only had an irritated nose... Met garry at IMM for dinner n to get some stuffs... Had dinner at Fish & Co and Yippy!~ I bought my sweets too... hehehe...



The flu started getting worse on Sat after we arrived at Rasa Sentosa... by then, my throat felt sore, eyes started tearing and gradually by night time, my eyes became swollen like it always does whenever I'm down with flu... slowly my ears & nose got blocked and finally my taste bud gone...

Checked into our rooms and started unpacking... then went out to the balcony to c c look look and happened to see Lian Hoon, Eugene and Kaikai outside oso... took a pic of them...



Since we had a few hours to pass, the rest of the gang decided to go to the pool... so after much delay in the room trying to get kaikai in his trunks and applying sunblock on him, off we went to the pool...







Elrin's wedding was a smash... food was good... music and entertainment wasn't too bad either... took quite abit of photos on sat... there were tributes during the wedding for the husband and wife as well as for their parents... very nicely done... then came the big surprise for Elrin... Cheng Hwa took piano lessons for 5months without her knowing and played a piece for her accompanied by a montage done up especially for her... Aaawww.... so touching and romantic man....





Then when we were half way thru dinner, the lovely couple took over the dance floor with their salsa moves... they really looked good together... oh btw that's hw these lovebirds met... during salsa dancing... hehehe.... Anyway 1/2 way thru dinner we decided to go to the ladies and then we took a group photo....



After the dinner, the whole gang came up to my room and that's when we celebrated my bday!~ hehehe.... had mango cake from Bakerz Inn.... Yummy~~~



After changing into something comfy, Sharon, Thea, Zhi & Grace came back to my room and we had drinks while playing this bo liao dice game... hehehe.... finished more than 1/2 of the bottle of mixture in abt an hr or so... hehehe.... the last round was shared btw Grace and Zhi... who surprisingly improved her alcohol consumption quite abit... hehehe... practicing secretly ah.... hehehe... by then it was close to 2am and after we took these last few shots, we went to slp cos all of us couldnt make it liao...



Woke up at 8 for breakfast and after that they decided to head to the pool again... stopped by 1 of the shops to get floats for kaiKai...



While the rest of them went back to change, Garry n me heading back for our room... beh tahan man... the flu was killing me... was so tired that I fell aslp almost immediately and didnt wake up until 1.15pm.... die had to quickly bath and pack up cos we were checking out at 2pm... ehehe... after that we had a quick lunch at Tiong Bahru before heading home...

When we reached Hougang, mummy called and asked us to fetch them from the vet lor... Aiyo tot i could go hm and slp again but still had to make a detour... *siGh* turned out that Terry at an infection on his paw and since we were there, I jus asked the vet about the lump on tobys eyebrow area... vet said that it looks like a wart and asked to apply the cream that she would be giving and to monitor it to see if it goes down or nt...

Finally able to go home... the minute we reached hm, i went upstairs and slpt... piangz... couldnt breathe lor... got woken up by mummy around 7+ as we were hafin dinner at H.Green... while waiting for our orders, I went to see the doc as i didnt tink i could wait until the next day... oredi felt so hot n lethargic man.... *siGh* had to wait for about 30min before it was my turn...went back to eat my mee sway while waiting...

Went back to the clinic and waited for another 20min before it became my turn... doc took my temp and initally it read as 38 deg den he asked if i felt hot or not cos my face was so red and eyes oso blood shot and i told him that im feelin very hot and haf been drinking cold water but it didnt help... in the end he took my temp again tis time from my mouth... and it turned out that my fever was close to 40 deg lor.... *pEngz* gave me 2 days MC becos of the high fever... told me to drink lots of water and sleep... wah no problem ah... sleep sure can wan...

In the end, we packed evything and took a cab back home... reach CCK and was opening the letter box when this stupid auntie brought her silky out from the lift... immediately toby spotted tt silky and started strugglin in my arms and barking like a crazy dog... as I was disciplining him, that stupid auntie can still stand rooted to the ground with her dumbass silky lor... dunno how to walk away... still let her silky struggle towards us... is she stupid or is she stupid?!?!?

I turned and glared at her and at the same time as i was oredi so lethargic n sick i got irritated and started to scold toby more and clam his mouth shut with more force than i usually used... poor boy started whinning but i kept my hold on his snouth until he stopped... in the end he kept quite but i still kept scolding him as we made our way up in the lift... the moment we reached home, i put him down n made him sit in one corner.... tink he knows that im very angry cos he didnt dare move one bit...

Took a bath while garry started unpacking evything... then went to sleep.... for the 1st time with the windows open and only the fan.... no aircon as i couldnt breathe lor... *siGh* Slept the whole of monday and only woke up to eat den slpt back... After dinner, surprisingly, Mr Lee bath Toby for the 1st time.... hehehe... n i helped to clean his ears cos Mr Lee didnt know how to do it...

Jus woke up nt too long ago... but i tink Im gonna take a nap soon once the drowsiness from the medication starts... till tmw... when i get back to work...

~*~*~ 1st Wedding Dinner of the Week ~*~*~

At work but cant seem to concentrate much leh.... tired... sleepy.... *yAwNz* Started work at 7.30am yesterday somemore... Anyway, Esther helped me with my make-up after work and I lingered around until almost 6+ before leaving the office with Esther, Jasmine and Teresa... took the train with them and stopped at Newton where I was supposed to meet Sharon and Thea at 7.15pm though I was kinda earli and arrived at 7pm....

As usual, I had to wait for them.... In the end, even Zhi and Garry were able to meet us at the MRT Station lor... After everyone arrived, we made our way to Sheraton Towers where Eileen's dinner was held at... The ambience of the ballroom was nice... the stage looked not too bad oso... Bride looked pretty as usual... groom looked dashing... company around the table was marvelous as always.... but the food.... Hmmm.... not what i expected from Sheraton....

Took some pics of us last nite though not many... hehehe...

Anyway by the time i reached home it was almost midnite lor... took a bath and when i came out of the shower, my 2 boys were fast aslp liao lor... hehehe.... caught a shot of both of them before i went to bed... Wonder what Garry was praying for man... hehehe... Anyhow, I fell aslp the minute my head touched the pillow sia... Damn shack~

Somehow I woke up in the middle of the nite cos I was cramped at one side of the bed.... 1st time Mr Lee took up so much space on the bed and even slept onto my side lor... opened my eyes and saw his face on the pillow just next to my shoulder smemore *HmPf!~* I was too tired n didnt bother waking him up to move slightly aside...

Was soundly asleep and remembered dreaming that I was taking the train with Elna and we were walkin towards the last cabin... jus when we were in the middle of the 2nd last cabin, I saw 2 men arguin in the last cabin. Elna was still walkin towards me as she was a few steps away... When i reached the middle section of both cabin, a cute puppy ran towards me and I immediately sticked my leg out to prevent the puppy from running away... heheh... =Þ~

Jus when I removed my leg, the puppy continued running and I started to whistle to the puppy and surprisingly it turned and lookked at me and ran back to me... I then bent and started playing with the puppy and overheard 1 of the man saying that the puppy was a shitszu and the other said no it was a maltese... I looked at the puppy and obviously it was a M.Schnauzer lor... hahaha.... den jus as i was about to lift the puppy up and carry it in my arms, someone shook and woke me up lor... Damn it... it was Garry who was waking me up for work.... aaarrrggghhhh..... :(

Slept sometime after 4am yesterday even though I started bloggin before 1am... Was busy uploading the photos that we took during our dinner at Marriott... so many pics taken so had to choose the nicer ones... and on top of that, there was something wrong with the damn PC last nite and I had to reboot it.... *siGh* Talking about dinner last nite, I heard pple saying it was quite good... but i personally find that the food was not as fantastic as I thought it would be leh... But there's no denying that the oysters and prawns were fresh la...

I woke up around 1 in the afternoon and realised that I was the only one left in the room lor... the 2 boys were already up... actually it was more like I got woken up bcos Sara msged me... *siGh* there goes my beauty sleep liao... she wanted me to accompany her to MSQ tmw to collect her stuff... hmmm.... can't say no rite? Went out of the room in search of my 2 boys.... 1 was playin mahjong on the PC and the other was locked in the kitchen after Garry brought him down in the morning as he got rather wet and dirty.... poor fella... looked at me with that sad look. Heheh... so of cos mummy had to let him out of the kitchen to play... he got so happy and excited and started running around the house and then entertained himself by playin his squeekies...

Since both of them were entertaining themselves and I wasn't hungry, I decided to finish reading my book... jus when i was left with the last few chapters, Garry came into the room and said he didnt realise that it was so late oredi... hmm... by then it was almost 5pm oredi... so late and we havent eaten the whole day... in the end we decided to jus have dinner... and planned to have crabs~~ yummy.... :)

Lazed around and watched tv until slightly after 6 when I was ordered to bring Toby down so that he could vacuum the house... *pEnGz* so clean oredi still wan vacuum meh... i cant see any dust or dirt oso lor... Anyway I brought Toby down and he pooped 4 times today... hmmm.... so much to let go ah... after that we went back up and then Garry and me went down to tabao dinner... the crab all looked big man... we also order vege and hot plate toufu ... so full sia....

Shortly after dinner, I went to bath Toby cos his daddy started to complain that he was smelly and looked dirty... hmm... so there we were... at our little corner in the kitchen with Toby propped on the small table we bought specially for him... cleaning his ears and then bathing him... after he rolled ard on the towel I started drying him with the hair dryer and cleaning his ears again... I was complaining that it was slightly difficult to clean his ears cos his fur grew again!! Argh... Just brought him for grooming 2 weeks ago onli sia...

Then after much contemplation on whether to try the shaver that Fionn lent me, I decided what the hack jus give it a try lor... hahahah.... initially i was so scared that i might cut his ears so i told garry y dun try shaving his ass 1st... Hahaha... and tis is how it looks like now...

So clean hor.... no fur at all...

But the more i shaved the more shiok it got... hahaha... I ended up shaving the fur around his ears, neck and underside of his mouth...

Then I tot y not be more adventurous and I tried shavin his back... at first nothing happened and i was like asking Garry if I was supposed to hold the shaver the other way round... But since he oso didnt know... i tried it and the both of us got a shock... hahaah... cos a small part of Toby's fur jus got shaved off... ahahaha.... heng cant see any difference on his back lor... in the end i decided to leave that area for the experts...

Finished off by combing his paws and powdering him... this boy very hiao wan... simply loves to be powdered... and last but not least wearing back his precious red collor that he adores so much... the minute he got down from the table onli he started running around the house again...

Hehehe... and then as usual he started getting all slpy and tired...

Think i shall go take a bath and than do my mask liao... Dread leh... still haf ironing to do... tinking of doin it next wk but the whole of next week I'll be so bz lor... what with 2 weddings to attend and us stayin at Rasa Sentosa on Saturday after the wedding and meeting up with my family and the 2 boys at Sentosa on Sunday.... *siGh* Can I not iron anot?!?!? Can't do it tmw since we'd be back in Hougang and then meeting up with the gang at Lian Hoon's plc cos they're celebrating Edison's Birthday... Wow so fast 2 yrs oredi... Tink I will jus leave the whole load for next monday la... the most I just iron the whole day lor... sianz... WTH man I'll be on leave but have to be the ironing slave at home instead of nuaing... HmPf! :(

On a lighter and happier note, Toby's gonna be sleeping on the bed with us tonite.... YiPpy!!~ la la la.... but but but...
