Yes yes yes... the much awaited JCS Renewal Dinner at Marriott is finally here!!~ As usual everyone came to work waiting to see what the usual suspects would be wearing for this year's theme... "Japan Fashion". I'm glad to say that we weren't that disappointed cos there were a few who really dressed up for the theme...

Started the day with my all time favourite kopi... Compliments from Sengster... Was actually at the pantry making tea oredi when Angie came and brought Esther and me coffe... *sLurP* Best!!!~ See I drink until so fast sia... Pour out onli and in less than 5 minutes I drank 1/2 cup liao... hehehe... :)

Gam Xia very the much ah... Drink yr kopi very bagus... Hehehe...

Went about doing emails as evyone was assigned to clear the load... we had more than 1000 emails to clear lor... sian sia... oredi no mood to work and yet there's so many emails lor... yesterday I do Synergy emails until my fingers cramped and wrist aching sia... Next week will be worst... wat with the start of renewal season! Somemore next week I'll be email IC lor... Alamak... I hope they abolish this self-manage team thingy next week in view of the high email volumes like what they did today sia.... God save us all...

Finally the time came for evyone to stop work and start dolling up... heard sme sort of commotion behind me and realised that ShuLynn had kuti Priya a couple of times until her arms turned red... Wahlau now we know who the big bully really is man... Priya's oredi so thin like scarecrow but still that garang women still kuti and she kept askin Priya the kuti from which hand felt more painful... Poor thing~

This ShuLynn still pretending to be working lor.... *pEngz* Nvm nvm... the government has issued the 1st warning oredi...and we have proof.... hiak hiak hiak...

Angie Jas n myself together with LiMing were kept waiting... by none other than Esther Ang Shu Ting!!!!! Yes yes yes... as usual... *siGh* Y u may ask... becos she had to draft her email at the last minute lor... oredi told her that we would be leaving at 5.30pm and to shut down at 5.25pm but no.... she had to write 1 last email lor... aaaaarrrrrrrrgggghhhhhh..... ok nvm... cos we all know that she always gets a phone call at the last minute before lunchtime or jus when we were knocking off OR has to draft some impt email....

Anyway, after Esther was done with her email, she started styling Shirley's hair lor.... *someone... anyone... pls stab me with a wooden spoon can!?!?!*piAnGz* So while we were waiting for her to be done, we started taking some photos lor... hehehe... And of cos we had to take our lovely mummy....

When everyone came down, we all left to take the train to Orchard... the train was simply so crowded man!!! So cramp and squeezy... we were all worried that Angie might not be able to squeeze into the cabin! Hahaha.... lucky thing we managed to make space for her... When we were at Cityhall trying to squeeze into the train, we suddenly heard this loud sound and realised that someone had actually fainted near the escalator... Aiyo... hope that person is alrite now...

We finally received a call from Hazel saying that they were stuck in a jam smewhere near Newton and asked those who have arrived to eat 1st!!! Yippy!! Damn hungry by then lor... Hahaha... what did most of us went to take 1st? Oysters, cold prawns and sashimi lor... But this time round, I lost 1 oyster eating kaki la... Angie mummy cant eat raw food for the time being leh... *siGh* Lucky thing we had 2 new recruits... Merrily and Quietly... hahah... to join me. And to be included, they had to down at least 6 oysters each lor... wahahah...

Zhi just sent me this.... Hmm... seems interesting... maybe will go if there's nothing on.... but that's if we have transport on that day la... went to the website to check out where this place was and realised that it was somewhere in Kranji... I tink... kinda ulu sia... hmmm... having second thoughts now...

If reali no transport than probably wont be going cos too troublesome lor... can take cab in but going home that time i tink cannot make it la... sure no cab ard that area wan sia... and I dun tink I want to book for cab to go to that kind of ulu plc sia... for all u know, u can be waiting there till the cows fly home and the cab wouldnt have arrived oso lor... hahaha.... we'll see how at a nearer date bah~

.....After a long weekend.....

Went back to work after a long weekend... lots of stuffs to do.... almost couldnt hit my quota oso... lucky thing managed to hit jus in time to knock off... hahaha... or else tmw sure receive another email abut not hitting our targets.... Anyway enough about work... I must say the weekend went by rather well... did many stuffs and spent quite abit of money... *pEngz*

Went back to Hougang on Sunday.... received a call from my Sara in the morning asking if Garry knew where to go to repair the car tyre cos it got deflated... wahsay! On a sunday sia... hw to find... in the end, Garry asked Mark Joseph and he said that the Shell station just before going in to Sgoon Gardens should be open for 1/2 a day... Garry called and they said that they close at 2pm... piangz... rush liao mad lor... cos by then it was almost 12+ oredi...

Reached Hougang and saw the state of the tyre... condamn liao la... so flat it cant even roll lor... hahaha... if we drive to the petrol station the whole rim sure roll out... hahaha... in the end had to call papa's usual contact to come and tow the car to the mechanic... ehehe... while this was going on, i was bz cooking maggie mee since we havent had lunch yet... anyway the 2 monkeys made me search the bedroom for my present lor... So Hot! Initially they didnt give me much clue lor...

Damn! Search until so hot sia... hahaha... in the end they said that they hid the stuffs at one side of the room... piangz!~ Anyway the 1st item i found was a crumpler case... then followed by a towel set that had sheeps sown on it... n finally the last item found was my Havanas slippers... hehehe... so happened that the crumpler case and slippers were red in color lor... if the towel came in red i tink they would have bought it in that color for me as well.... Thanks ah guys!~



Anyway, koko and family as well as Makko and Kuku were comin over for dinner.... i was asking Mummy wat occasion it was cos it seemed like we were having a gathering... hehehe... Koko came around evening and the house started getting noisy... I was looking at Ryan and told him that his tshirt that he wore looked so familiar... then Van woke up from her nap and came downstairs and I was looking from one to the other and realised that they were wearing the same tshirt design in different tone... hahaha....



Shortly after that, kuku and makko arrived and kuku was shocked to see that papa had run down so much in less than 6 months since the last time they met... he kept asking if evything was alrite and stuffs like tt... told papa to take care and as usual he gave his "doctor" speech and remedies....

We were fooling around the whole time and realised that it was almost 7pm and yet the 2 dogs haven gone for their walk.. so while the older generation had dinner, we brought the 2 boys out for their walk.... came back just in time to haf dinner... just as we were preparing our plates and stuffs, chekchek Bobby and Chim Chim Nancy arrived...

WaHsAy!!! Reali gathering man... the house was so crowded and noisy... *tSk* *Tsk* long time since it was this noisy lor... anyway good oso la... prepare Nurul for the crowd during Xmas and CNY... told her that this was not even 1/4 of the crowd that would be coming during these 2 occasions...

During dinner, Evan & Ryan were like sapooing the dishes man... Ryan had like 4 rounds of rice serving!!~ Couldnt remember how many rounds Evan had... but they sapooed evything... hahaha... I salute them! As usual, we were fooling around in the study room again and of cos I had to take some candid shots!~ Hehehe....



We left Hougang close to 10pm partly bcos we couldnt get a cab and bcos Van couldnt decide whether to follow us home or not... heheh... scared that I psycho her into not going to school the nxt day as I need not go to work... kekek... yeah long weekend!~ Anyway she decided not to follow us home... so guai!~

Anyway way I woke up around 10+ on Monday cos needed to check with Sara wat time she was meeting me and then decide if I was going to meet mummy for lunch. As she could only meet me after 3pm, I decided not to meet mummy as I wouldnt know what to do in between while waiting for her to come... In the end, I left home ard 1+ to go to TCC to run some errands and then headed down to Cityhall... walked abit before Sara finally arrived... by that time the both of us were so famished that we decided to go down to the basement to see what there was to eat...

In the end, I decided to duck at my fav duck place... kekek... yummilicious.... ordered duck, claypot mushroom chicken, fried toufu and brocolli... hehehe... took a pic of what we had... but since the vege didnt come on time, we decided not to wait longer.... hehehe...



After lunch, we headed for MSQ as Sara was supposed to bring me to this shop where she and Van spent close to 400 in total... hahaha... tried a few top and 1 of the tops made me look like a bumble bee lor... *pEngz* tried the same tip in another color... looks nt bad but jus not me... cant get used to it sia... anyway, I ended buyin 2 tops and spent $80 in that shop...



After that we continued walking around and I decided to go Times to check if the book I wanted arrived.... Woo Hoo... it must be my lucky day cos someone on the waiting list didnt come to collect and the book was released for sale... hahaha... and guess who has it now.... la la la la...



Went to change the batt on Garry's watch... piangz had to wait for an hour sia... Sara was like "wah his watch so special need to use titanium batt or wat ah? Or the screws so hard to unscrew that they need to take an hour jus to change the batt?" Hahaha... while waiting we decided to go to haf ice-cream... hehehe.... yum yum... We waited for the sales person to call me as she said she would once the watch was ready for collection...

We waited close to 1.5hr and still they didnt call... in the end, I decided to jus to go back to the shop and collect it.... stupid sia... the lady that served us wasn't around... turned out that another guy was there... hmm... closing liao still swop shift ah? Anyway collected the watch and then we decided to take a cab back... brought Sara to the usual place where I always took cab from and she was nagging that there wasnt any cab... *siGh* I tink its jus her lor cos the minute she got into a cab that was dropping soneone off at MSQ, I managed to flag down a cab along the main road.... hahaha...

I guess the whole long weekend was good... bought quite a few things and reali enjoyed myself... only wished that it was permanent... hehehe... Garry was tellin me earlier today that his ex-colleague was recommending him a job and asked if he should apply for it... I was like go for it lor... No harm anyway since u oredi haf a job... jus give it a try who knows u might get shortlisted and then... who knows... skali u get what u're asking for... but the ironic thing is that apart from the company being his current competitor, his ex-boss from Tuas, Roslan is now working there as a workshop manage... *pEngz*

Anyway, we submited his resume to the HR from that company... now jus haf to cross our fingers and toes that a mirable happens.... ;) Talking about miracles happening, I tink i mentioned in my earlier entries that my malay neighbour seemed to be more friendly towards us cos they started smiling at us and even greeting us when we bumped into each other at the lift lobby or downstairs... Recently on Sunday Garry still said that our "security pak cik" asked us to call over to their house for Hari Raya lor... WWaaaaa..... hahaha.... :)

And Guess wat!! Jus now while we were lazing in front of the tv after having pizza, there was a knock on our door... and WALA!!~ It was our malay neighbour once again.... this time, their daughter came over to give us kueh kuehs lor... Hahaha.... I was telling Garry that we really going to tio beh pio liao man!! 1st they smile, then they greet, now they giving us food.... Hmm... I wonder what's next....

Sumptous Dinner

Cleaned the house earlier today... now evywhere is spick and span... heheh... n Mr Lee has nothing to grumble le... Yeah! Bcos Mr Lee only went to work on Monday, it means that I dun haf to do any ironing this week!! YiPPY!~ hehehe...

My mother-in-law and sis-in-law's family came over earlier today... popping by as usual... hehehe... anyway they decided to go for dinner at Sunshine Plaza... wanted to try the zhi cha that had the crab thingy... apparently it gets very crowded durin dinner time... so off we went ard 6+... 1st time hafin dinner so earli... when we reached there were oredi 4-5 families there...

Halfway thru dinner, Garry n me went to buy drink and guess wat! We met my brother-in-law and his family at the same makan plc... hehehe.... small world ah... wanted to call them initially but my mother-in-law said that they had plans for dinner... hehehe... in the end they sat down with us... Anyway we jus came home from dinner and now feeling abit full...

Think shall end here bah... going back to Hougang tmw... heard from Van that the 2 of them bought quite abit of stuffs yesterday... apparently each of them spent about 200+ lor... HnG!~ When i go out with them they have nothing to buy la then when I'm not with them they find so many things to get... somemore can tell me that they will bring me to that shop next week... Like real onli... y must be next week cannot tmw?? Sara still can show case her barang barang that she bought on her blog smemore... Sickening~~~~

Was supposed to go BluJaz for lunch yesterday but we ended up at the Prawn Mee place cos there were no seats left at the BluJaz... Supper crowded lor... everyone seemed to be not working on that day.... Anyway I was supposed to meet Sara and Van after lunch but in the end didnt cos they said i was so troublesome cos I was meeting Garry for dinner and they wanted to go shopping... hehehe.... in the end didnt meet them and decided to go IMM with Esther cos she was meeting Cheryl our Interior Designer to get the quotation for her house renovation.

Cheryl was looking good and she's preggy with her 2nd child... Congrats!! Anyway the discussion went about well... left her shop almost 3hrs later... hahaha.... which is the norm... i remember that we used to stay at her shop for at least 3hrs when we were dicussing the reno stuffs of our hse the last time... the headache comes when u're choosing the colors and materials.... even choosing the tiles took us more than an hour... heheh... but it was fun lor.... I enjoyed the whole process.... Now jus waiting to see who Esther decided to go along with as her designer after she gets a re-quote from Cheryl... most imptly is that she must feel comfortable with the designer who will be doing her reno....

~~~ Pissing Me Off Again ~~~

Came to work slightly earlier today as I knew that there would be emails to clear... true enaf I had 83 new emails in my mailbox. Cleared those work related ones 1st before my personal ones... read and deleted the 1st chunck of emails. When I started reading the 2nd chunck of emails onli my blood pressure started getting higher lor... the more I read the more pissed I got.... Fucking TL man...

As usual... whenever something bad happens, fingers would always be pointing at our clique first without a doubt... No any qns asked initially as well... but when something good happens, we are usually the last to know... freaking piss me off... Anyway I dun wanna go too much into detail about wat happen... no point la... just dun fucking piss me off further....

On a lighter and happier note, we received an email from Emily showing us pics of Bernice... Pretty pretty princess...

Didn't go to work today cos had migrain again! Been sometime since I had it... also my eye socket felt like something was poking into it lor... probably becos of the headache bah... so in the end msg my TL and told her that I wouldn't be going to work today.... there I was snoozing away when Esther called to ask if I wanted her to get beehoon from her plc... wahsay! I wan leh but me not going work lor.... miss the beehoon at her plc sia...

CY msged me later in the morning to ask if I changed lunch timing with anyone cos there was 1 drop call during lunch yesterday and I told her that I chged with Jean on Monday and told her that it's for the whole week. Apparently there must have been some miscom cos Jean changed her lunch time with LiMing for the rest of the week. Piangz!!*siGh* What to do What to do u tell me??? >:-S Whateva la... say so much oso like tt....

Went to see the doc and he said that I had tension headache and asked me not to stare at the comp for too long... I was like huh? Abit not possible cos my life revolves around the PC for more than 1/2 a day lor... if dun face PC means I wont be working... n if I do tt pple will tink I am too free at work with nothing to do... which is nothing new... jus bcos some of us tend to talk more or seem unstressed doesnt mean that we have nothin to do or no problems lor... diff pple haf diff ways of handling stress and problems but I can understand that there are people who dun understand this...

Doc then asked if I was allergic to any medicine and I said I was allergic to Diclophenic... and he was like Ic Ic what happens when u take tt medicine? I said that my eyes would swell up badly and I would look like a lionhead goldfish lor... den he laughed... but on a serious note... he said that if eyes swell means my allergic to that medicine was very bad and that I could have died if the dosage was stronger... WaH!! Didnt know that lor... All the other docs that I've seen never told me this... pHew!~

Anyway went to Lot 1 for lunch and went to Osim to enquire when I would get my bday voucher that would entitle me to 10% discount on their massage chairs and 20% discount on small items. The guy told me that I didnt have to wait for the letter... I just need to give them my I/C Number can liao... WaH!! Best man... On top of that there is a price reduction becos of Hari Raya...some sort of promo lor... but unadvertised... he was tellin us that the promo onli valid until tmw or the day after...

The OSIM iSymphonic was going for $4980 which was almost $1K cheaper... OSIM uSqueez was at $588 and OSIM uPapa was at $368.... And yes! we ended up buying all 3... but hold yr horses... the OSIM iSymphonic is for my Mother-in-law n not me.... :( sad sia... the OSIM iSymphonic is a gift from her 3 precious kids to her... alrite la I guess she's entitled to that lor. Next time if i were to ever have kids they better treat me like tt oso sia... Anyway getting the OSIM uSqueez and OSIM uPapa is sufficient for me la... at least for now la... hehehe...

While at the shop I tried the OSIM iSymphonic and it wasn't too bad la... but we still think going to a Spa would be best... heheh... more shiok la... ;) anyway the OSIM uSqueeze and OSIM uPapa is good enaf for me la... and the best part is that the sales guys actually delivered these items to us arouond 7+ lor... Really went the extra mile man! The OSIM iSymphonic would be sent to my brother-in-laws plc sometime next week since my parents-in-law are now staying with them... hehehe.... after dinner Mr Lee immediately fix up both items and I immediately sat down to try both... wahahha.... It's good!~ No more aching back and feet for me liao!!!

There's nothing much to post today... besides the usual nothing much reali happened... apart from some of the members in Mr Z's team received another of his "warning" emails about punctuality... nothing different from before... *siGh* getting sick n tired of receiving such emails man...

Oh ya... did I mention previously that Emily has delivered? Well she has... finally.... no more swollen feet le...

Finally able to conduct our team meeting....

Finally my TL is starting to listen, learn and change her working habits...

Dar has been on 2 days MC cos he sprained his back... seems like it hasnt really improved so he's gone to see the doc again to extend his CM for another 2 days... so shiok man... wk on Mon onli... hmpf!~ Nvm... lucky thing I'm working for 1/2 a day on Friday onli... after wk going for lunch with the usual suspects... and Sara might be joining us as well if she decides to meet me after work...

Jus finished dinner... so full nw man... slpy oso... Dar cooked my fav Watercrest & Pork ribs soup, fried fish and his 三杯鸡... yum yum.... he cooked extra so I'm bringing it to work for lunch tmw... hehehe...

2nd Complaint Email to TTSH

Almost couldnt wake up this morning if it weren't for Garry who was calling out to me in pain... I think his back got injured when he was in reservist lor... =( Initially it was just aching but now it seems like it's worsen... the pain is from his tail bone area upwards... he said its like a needle poking him like tt... told him not to go to work n to see a doc... wanted to accompany him but he said he could still make it there by himself... *siGh* Before I left for work, I told him to call me the minute he's done seeing the doc.

Reached office slightly earlier so went to Raffles Medical to get coffee... dunno y I bought 2 cups for also lor... stupiak man... Anyway, I'm still waiting for the work allocation to come out... even though I know I have to do emails. Hehehe.... While waiting, I tot it would be better to get down to sending my complaint to TTSH 1st before I get too busy...

Dear Mr Lim Suet Wun & Mr Albert Tan,

After sending this email on 2 October 07, I received a call from Alan from Patients Relations Services on Wednesday (3 Oct) afternoon informing me that he has received my complaint and that he would be looking at my concerns before reverting to me with any updates intermittenly.

Unfortunately, I have yet to hear from him or anyone from your organisation till today. Is there no interim update? Is my complaint insignificant to your organisation that it is being swept under the carpet?

Am I supposed to sit around all day waiting for someone to take action on the issues that I've raised OR is there a need for something bigger to happen before any form of action is being implemented?

I am disgusted with the way things are being managed by your organisation and that I have to write in once again. Is there too much bureaucracy that nothing can be done? It is ridiculous and unacceptable for it to take almost a week for someone to address my concerns and feedback. Do you not have any service level in place? Such attitude from a big organisation is intolarable.
