Start of a New Week~~~

Weekend flew by so fast... went for Teresa's hsewarming on sat... before we left, Garry was fidgeting with the cam and took some pics of Toby...

While we were at Teresa's plc, I was happily talkin with the restthat I lost track of time... in the end i was late for my appt to meet my buyer at Sgoon Gardens... Oops... was supposed to meet up at 1.30pm but only left Teresa's plc in Seng Kang at 1.45pm... jialatz man... lucky thing the girl was ok... hehehe..

Anyway went to Ah Seng's kopitiam for drinks after that... wahsay the kopi peng and milo peng is power man... hehehe.... sat there for awhile and again overshoot the timing... was supposed to go fetch Van before fetching the rest to go down to Plaza Sing for our movie... abit kan chiong esp when we were caught in the mini jam along Upper Sgoon Road lor... Reached PS about 4.30pm when our show timing was at 4.20pm... but knowing GV, we were still earli for our movie...

Went into the theatre without gettin any drinks or food... tink we were all rather full lor... hehehe... what show we watched? Hahaha... We finally watched 881!! Nice show but a little to drama bcos of the special effects... but what the hell... nice songs... although more than 1/2 of the movie was in hokkien and I had to practically read the subtitles most of the time, it was worth watching... reali touching la... came out of the cinema with puffy eyes sia... *paisay* hehehe...

There were so many nice songs featured in the movie but the ones i like best are Ji Lang Ji Pwa and Zhui Hou Yi Kou Qi. Though I'm no fan of Hokkien songs but i tink these 2 songs are reali meaningful...

My sunday wasn't too bad as well... although I stayed home the whole day while Garry went for a lunch wedding... read my storybook till it was past 1pm den was online for awhile and had lunch, den bath Toby... kekek... looks so clean now... n becos he's so clean, he get's to sleep in our room on the bed with us tonite.... YiPpY!!! N Garry didn't say no wor... hahaha... here's some of the pics I took jus before I slpt... as u can see... the 2 boys eventually dozed off before me....

~*~*~ Mooncakes Galore ~*~*~

Went to work today with eyes that were abit puffy... somehow couldn't reali contain my emotions when I was lyin in bed the previous nite while trying to sleep and resulted in crying... good thing my baby hasn't gone for reservist and was there to comfort me... Thanks Darling~

I still have a heavy heart each time I tink of what's happened or listen to songs that either reminded me of that someone or the many songs that were sung by that person or was one of the many favourites of that person... I guess it takes time... a long time... but then again, I believe one can never be prepared for such a "news"... It's difficult to put a brave front at work as well as in front of others when whateva that's happenin is always at the back of my mind... It's especially difficult if that person is someone you look up to... someone you hold very dear to your heart... Having said that life still has to go on.... We have to make the best of whateva's avaliable.

I reached office and as usual went to the pantry with Angie to make tea... then we saw 3 boxes of mooncakes from GMP... Angie being preggy wanted to eat the egg yolk mooncake n we ended up cutting the mooncake... Joelle the other mummy to be oso had 1 piece... as it was all the traditional oven baked kind i gave it a miss... There was even 1 in the osmanthus flavour... we didnt dare try it cos u neva know what it might taste like... there was however, 1 brave soul... Jessica... who tried a small piece and said that it tasted like cardboard... hahahah.... thanks for sacrificing ah darling...

The day went by as usual... work work n more work... which can neva end... went to ta bao lunch back... yum yum... felt so slpy after tt lor... hehehe... anyway Hazel emailed the dept that she's bought mooncakes for us... yiPpy!!~ More mooncakes... and the good thing is that there was the snowskin kind... yeAh!! That I love.... if it's the durian mooncake or champagne truffle or bailys irish cream in snow skin u can give it to me anytime man!!! My favourites.... hahahah....

Thanks to Zena who cut the mooncake into pieces and brought it round the whole office for each of us.... or else I think we won't have time to go to the pantry lor... hehehe...



From the picture above, u can tell how neatly it was cut up initially... but as usual... there was Esther who was so helpful and did her artwork by cutting one of the mooncakes into rectangular pieces... below is her UNIQUE piece of work.... Thanks ah Esther for being so helpful leh... =Þ

As it was abit of a turn off, Angie and myself refused to take a piece... heheh... Sorrie ah esther... nothing against u hor... dun get angry with us ah.... heheh... what we said about jus being your colleague n not yr friend was jus a joke ah... kekeke... U know that we love you rite? No one can replace you... especially for me... How can i forget my mentor who likes to shift my windows and keyboard when she used to audit me?? Hehehe... Apart from Angie and myself, there were a few brave souls who are reali Esther's true friend... they took a piece from her unique artwork...

Went back to work today and evything was goin on as usual... weather was kinda gloomy cos of the rain... msged my mum n she replied almost immediately... surprised to receive her reply and it was only after reading her sms did i realise that she was on leave today... totally slipped off my mind...

Reached office and subsequently made plans to visit Dawn during lunch time with some colleagues... she's finally given birth on sunday... which also happens to be her bday... Congrats Mummy!! Reali hard on u to endure 15hours of labour wor... baby Ethan is one handsome fella... Anyway, we decided to have lunch at Raffles Hospital 1st before visiting her... Took some pic of baby Ethan sleeping... cute & adorable little man...









I've actually been on pins and needles the whole of today... that's because the medical result of someone close to me was to be released today... Anyway, the long awaited sms finally reached me jus when I was about to leave the hospital to return to office... the minute i received the sms, lots of thoughts started running through my head... simply had no mood to work... eventually, I thought it would be better if i wrote a short email to my boss just in case they probed on my work productivity...

Thank god for having such an understanding anad sympathetic boss *siGh* apart from her, there is only other person whom I've opened part of my feelings to...

There are simply too many qns circling in my mind now... why... when... how come... there is never a certainty or even an answer that can explain what has happened... for someone like me who rarely believes in miracles... I guess the only thing now is to pray, believe and trust that miracles do happen...

Woke up this morning feeling super tired. Whole body aching and simply couldn't open my eyes... Dar kept wakin me up cos my alarm kept ringing... i was mumbling to him that i was so tired n all n asked how come he wasn't getting up yet... he then said that he was also tired and that he was taking the bus transport... somehow after all the mumblings, we decided not to go to work today... *oOpz*

Chitra msged me and told me that all the systems were down since morning and that it was a waste for me to take MC today... they were not able to do any work and zaini even told some of them to surf the net... most of them were gathering in groups and chattin away... good for them...

Anyway I slept until 11+ and dragged myself up cos had to go see the doc... in the end we couldn't make it in time n so went to see the doc in the afternoon when the clinic opened again during the mid day... got our medicines and most impty MC for the day. As it was still earli for dinner n Dar didnt want to walk around in Lot 1 aimlessly, we decided to go to his brother's plc to visit his mum who is now staying with them...

Only En En and Rui Yi were at home since Wei wei was in Primary 1 and still in school... before reaching the house we went to the nearby bakery and bought some bread n soon kuey for tea... I oso bought Kaya bun for breakfast tmw... when we reached Garry's bro's house... it was jus in time for tea and the 2 rascals were playing with their toys... En En even built a machine gun and a castle with his lego... hahaha...



Managed to capture some shots while we were there.... and my my my.... It's been so long since we saw Rui Yi and she has grown to be such a small little beauty.... kept posing for all the pics... hahaha... En En has grown so much also.... with this haircut he looks like a small jap boy... heheh... handsome handsome... Such a waste that Wei Wei wasn't at home at that time....

I wonder when will be the next time I see these 2 rascals.... hope it won't be that long though.... then they would look different again... kids reali grow up fast....

What a weekend this has been... didnt reali do much on saturday... cleaned the house the whole day... after staying here for close to 2 yrs, yesterday was the 1st time i mopped the whole house lor... wahsay!!! Can die sia... not only tired but backache + handache man... the palm area so sore now... from all the squeezing of the mop... *siGh* now i know wat it's like to mop the whole house lor...

Thank you baby for being the one who is always vacumming, mopping the house and cleaning the toilets... *muAckz*

Had to clean the house properly bcos my parents and sis all comin over today lor... hehehe... cant welcome them with a dirty & messy plc rite... not that our plc so messy n all la... guest come must be presentable oso mah rite... hehehe... so there we were cleaning the whole plc to welcome evyone including Terry... kekek... yeap even Terry came over today...

Woke up this morning ard 7+ to go to the market... hahaha... yeah i went to the market to buy the food we needed for dinner... today's trip to the market was kinda different from normal... while we were at our last stop buyin chicken before leaving the plc.... an accident happened a few stores away... we didn't reali see what happened but from what we heard, we guessed that the guy could have slipped and fell since it was rather slippery....

When i turned around to see what had happened, I already saw the man lying front wards on the floor.... poor fella man... he's reali big... as in reali reali big the fall must have been very hard and painful for him... he was lying in that position for a long time... n he looked like he was in spasm... couldnt turn or get up by himself oso... the shop owner had to help him turn around... n he could onli do this by rolling him over... can u imagine how big he was... throughout this whole time evyone was like in a shock... someone called SCDF and shortly after evyone resumed their own business... there were still a few onlookers ard... hope that man is ok.

Reached home and started unpacking, then prepared the stuffs that we were using for dinner... so tired man... we finished all the preparations around 1pm... half the day gone... then while waiting I relaxed on the sofa n watched Happy Sunday... hehehe.... Garry entertained himself by playing his mahjong game on the comp... I thought that he was napping lor... hmmm...

After awhile, I realised that Toby kept pacing around the main door n sat there occasionally... hahaha... rather restless n couldnt reali sit for long... probably could sense that Terry was on his way?? Anyway took a snapshot of what he was doing... hehehe...

Is Korkor coming today???

Hey, I hear the lift!!!! *Ting Tong* Is it them??

Chey! I guess it's not... *siGh* Is no one coming today?


Called my 2nd sis and she said that they were almost reaching and asked me to go down to meet them... so I brought Toby down to welcome then... the moment Toby saw evyone he became so excited and when he saw his Terry korkor , he started jumpin on him... hahaha.... after letting the 2 boys pee, we went up as well... weather so hot today... wasted we weren't at the beach today... hahaha... but good thing oso la... or else we will surely get fried!!! *Dread that!!*

The minute Terry came into the house, he started walking around the place to familiarise himself... At 1st he was rather cautious but after he warmed up, he started walking around the place alone... hehehe... I tink he likes the mirror wardrope in my room... keeps walking back to the mirror to look at himself... hahaha.... wasted didnt get a shot of him doing that... anyway after awhile, he sort of found 2 favourite spots.... One is Toby's waterbed where he even snoozed for awhile n then woke up when he heard my flash...

The other was just in front of the bomb shelter door... hahaha.... caught snoozing again.... Toby lying next to him n i finally managed to get a shot of the both of them together without having to bribe... *pHew*

Anyway, Van & Sara started to get bored after awhile and guess what? It was Mahjong time lor... hehehe.... all the giao gwee.... Here's a shot of them....

While these 4 were gambling their time away, I played with the 2 boys... gave them some treats as well... heheh... greedy boys... had to use treats to entice them then I can take some shots of them together...









They played mahjong until 6+ while I prepared dinner for the boys... while preparing, Terry accompanied me in the kitchen... some companion he was... ended up snoozing away lor...

This is the 1st time I see a dog sleepin without having to rest his head anywhere sia... Terry's the Champion Snoozer!!!!

Once I was done with their food I prepared some of the dishes that we had for dinner... soup was as usual the best... hehehe... prepared by my darling... even Van who doesn't drink soup n eat veg oso drank our carrot soup lor... hahaha...

Anyway after dinner we played with the 2 boys again... that toby ah... can't share his toys lor... wateva Terry played he oso wanted to play... hmm.... must teach him how to share man... but i tink that's gonna be kinda difficult... we'll see how it goes la...

Went for lunch yesterday and bought Momo which is a marshmellow pillow from this shop in Bugis Junction... Have been lookin for this kind of soft toy cum pillow since i came back from BKK. Cant seem to find this anywhere now... hmpf...should have bought it when i was in BKK lor. Stupid man.... Anyway took sme pics of Momo...








When i took Momo out from his carrier, there was a small hole under his right front paw... went to get the sewing kit from Edna n did a minor operation and he's now heeling well. But becos of this incident, some of my colleagues have given Momo nicknames like Moley, Holey, White fur and Qi Mong lor... *PenGz*

When i came back from lunch today, they even had the cheek to give me flyers tucked nicely under Momo's collar soliciting for business.... Have managed to take sme pics of the so-called flyers...







Enough abt what's been happening in ofc...

Another update which i had not had the time the past few days to input was that we brought the boys to sentosa on sunday for a swim and boy did they have a good time there... went swimming and I end up hafin sunburn n a tann... hmm... wonder if thats gd or nt... Anyway before we left, mummy fried bee hoon, sausages, nuggest and drumlets... we left the hse ard 10+ or so... when we reached sentosa it was kinda hot... good weather i must say... compared to the rain the past few days... heheh...

We all had a great time n were all shacked out... Anyway, here's a short video of the whole outing...



I guess the 2 boys must have enjoyed themselves alot... can't wait for their next outing...
