Manhatten... New York...

Well well well... the long wait to visit Manhatten and New York was finally over... we finally received the Royal Invitation from the King & Queen to visit their palace... the meeting time was to be about 1.15pm as we were meeting up for lunch... we were running late as there was simply no cab at all... weather was so hot n there was this guy who wanted to snatch cab with me lor... wahsay~ TL to the max sia...

In the end we finally managed to flag down a cab and off we were to the Grand Palace... wahaha... As promised, here's my Feature Article... Garry & I managed to find the palace with ease. We got off on the 7th floor and walked towards Esther's unit... her main door was painted black... :) Knocked and waited for awhile... before the King opened the door to welcome us...

The minute I walked in I got blown away... I LOVE the Dining and Living room... even though the colors used were jus Black & White, the design and furniture meshed well and the effect was fantastic!~ I love it even more when it's in the evening... with the lights n its effect that it has on the walls... the whole area looks chic, sofisticated and classy~

One thing I have to highlight is that I am very very impressed with Esther and her drawing abilities as she managed to draw the Statue of Liberty onto her wall and it turned out gorgeous! Esther u reali amaze me:D And by the way Esther, your 52" plasma tv is another love of mine so if u ever get sick of it or if you are tinking of replacing your 52" when this it is still in working condition, u know who to donate it to ya :D

Back to my feature article, the kitchen was also done up in Black and white though it was a tad small but there is enough work space for two :) The other room wasnt done up but it looks like it could become a potential store room =Þ The common toilet wasnt done up but the masterbed room toilet had very nice tiles. Love the effect it has when the light shines on it. Looks like there was gold paper stuck on the tile... kekek... and of cos, there were gold taps n an antique looking shower head with golf trimmings. hmm... gold... like TT Durai? Jus how much is a membership specialist being paid? I WONDE!!! =Þ

The master bedroom on the other hand was a total contrast from the living and dining area. It was done up in Victorian style in cream and antique gold. I felt that it was a waste that the tv didnt come in cream, white or silver or maybe even a suttle shade of pale gold. It would have blended well with everything else :) But nevertheless, one could sense royalty the minute one walks into the victorian masterbedroom. *Hail to the King & Queen*

After lunch, we played Taboo and had a great time at it... many were 1st time players so it was reali fun watching them try to discribe the words to their team mates. kekeke.... both teams were strong but only 1 team won... with a difference of 3 or was it 4 points... a good game nonetheless :D A pity that Elna had to leave so much earlier than the others...

All in all... the visit to the palace was fantastic :) the company as always was great and I was the designated nanny n mattress for Nicky darling today :D But above all... I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Living and Dining area and I wouldnt tink twice whether to go or not if I was invited over to the palace the next time or anytime... :) Heheh....

We met up with Zhi and Terence and they came to fetch us. We ended up going to Bedok Corner makan place for dinner :D As always, we had to have the Hokkien Mee, Cold Cheng Tng, Oyster Omelette, Kam Beng Soup and this time round, we oso ordered Ayam Pengyat and Mee Guah! YUMMY!!!~ After filling our stomachs, Terence drove us back home as we had to come back to feed Toby & Tamy. They stayed on for about an hour or so before heading home :) Thanks for the ride guys~

Well... I guess it's the end of my saturaday... : Tomorrow's gonna be another busy day... gotta wake up by 9am to bath and groom the 2 rascals... den the family is coming over for lunch and after feeding the 2 rascals, we'll be heading off to Vivocity for a movie n then dinner to celebrate Father's Day!! :)
