We had a mini celebration for Chitra who will be celebrating her Birthday tomorrow... :) Here's the little something we got for her together with some vouchers... Hehehe....

What a headache it was....
In my previous post, I said that I decided on Toby & Tamy's CNY apparel and even confirmed getting it... well... things didnt turn out as I expected. I was informed yesterday that there had been a mistake and that there wasn't any Size 4 left for the Gold Furry Kua... Oh My!~ Imagine my disappointment man :(
Thea and I decided on this Kua and we were disappointed that there wasnt any stock left... we had to look for an alternative... as I didnt reali fancy the other costumes much, I decided to let Toby re-use his old CNY outfit from last year again...
This was wat Toby was going to use...
I didnt want to get the Red Furry Cheongsum cos it defeated the purpose if Toby didnt have a similar outfit and so ,I decided to get a similar outfit for Tamy to match his blue one and this was to be the replacement. Not as nice as the 1st set but wat the heck...
As Thea also couldnt get her hand on the Gold Furry Kua, she finally decided to get this for Fluffy... :)
Well... tat's wats making me happy n forgettin how sucky the Tengkat food is... Check out what I had for dinner the yesterday and earlier today... :(
Wednesday's Dinner - Brown color rice with abit of lup ching n tiny bits of chicken, some kind of bitter vege and some pork.... : Oh and there was Cheng Tng which is still sitting in the fridge...
This was wat I had today... Bitter gourd soup, Hot dog in tomato sauce, Egg omelette and Cai xin... Bleah~ boring cheapo food... not even worth $10...
Judging from the kind of food I've been having the last 4 days, I decided to meet up with Zhi after work tomorrow and she'd be bringin me for some Korean cuisine... YuMMY!! Kim Chi here I come... kekeke... Garry's going to his colleague's plc for a mini house-warming... so tmw's food would be left hanging outside till we get back... I wouldnt worry too much cos I'm pretty sure it's nothing fantastic tt will blow your mind away...
I'm jus hoping for next week to be done so that we dun have to continue with the Tengkat Service from Neo Garden... probably try another one... Any recommendations pple? Anyone tried nice n reasonable priced Tengkat service? Let me know ya... hehehe... One things for sure, one can order the buffet from Neo Garden but NEVER their Tengkat service...

After all the disappointments, headaches and decisions I had to make the whole of yesterday and today, I received an sms from the seller this evening while I was having my dinner. Happie Happie Happie... :)
Well... the day started well... more so becos yesterday ended well.... why? Cos I received good news from Angie... :) She msged me slightly after 10.30pm and said "Hey Godma-to-be! It's fonna be a girl :) Woo hoo~ :) I read her message and couldnt help feeling happy and excited at the same time. Not only becos her 2nd baby is a GIRL but bcos I'm gonna be her Godma... YeAh!!! :) Hehehe...
Angie wanted a girl and now she's been blessed with one... We were all hoping that it'll be a girl too though each time she asks me I'll always say it'll be a boy.... ahahaha.... :) Anyway, congrats mummy... Now we can start shopping for girly things liao... kekeke... OopS~
Another thing that's made me happy today is that I've finally decided to get a new set of CNY clothes for my 2 babies instead of getting only for Tamy since Toby has his blue kua from last year... :) After much dilemma, between this pink cheongsum and another cheongsum, I've decided to get matching outfits for the both of them....
Though I like this pink cheongsum, I felt that it won't match Toby Gold Kua... not grand enaf... kekeke... :P
In the end, I've decided to get this set of CNY Apparels for the kids for this year... :) Hehehe...
And becos Thea would be tagging her order with mine, I will get FOC delivery of the apparels. The schedule is kinda hectic for them and they would only be able to come over to our place on 24th Jan at 2pm for the fitting... What a weekend this has been....
The weekend went by well... we went back to Hougang without the furries last weekend as we had to get some stuffs for CNY and thought that it would be too much of a hassle of the 2 rascals came along... so they stayed home and nuah the whole day... while the both of us went CNY shopping!~ :)
No~ we didnt go get the goodies that I mentioned about... instead, we bought these... hahaha... I feel as if I'm starting to live in some mini garden... All the plants were re-potted and adorned with CNY deco by Gardener Lee... kekeke... somehow I tink when we grow old and when it's time for him to retire, he'll make a fine gardener and we might even have a mini garden of our own :)
I particularly like this deco... since I had a part in making them... mummy bought the deco but it wasnt folded n the embosed parts werent taken apart yet... so we sat down n patiently did it... I'm amazed that I managed to even complete one... hahaha... :)
Another thing that we decided to start at the beginning of the year was to try the Tengkat service by some caterers... did some research n decided that Neo Gardens would be the 1st that we'd try... Today marks the 1st day of the 10 day trial service for their Tengkat service...
We had chicken soup with barley n tau ke and fried xiao bai cai with carrots...
And there was fried fish slice cooked with leek and black pepper potatoes...
Tada~ The dinner portion for 2....
Hmmm... I wasnt blown away by the dishes tonite... abit disappointed as there wasnt any meat dish today... I'm more of a meat n seafood person... hence the disappointment... apart from that, it was a pretty decent serving... simple n tasty... :) Looking forward to tomorrow's delivery... I hope that there'll at least be chicken.
Went to the doc n didnt go to work today as I still have the persistent flu that's been bugging me since the beginning of this year. What a way to start the new year man~ Now, there is also sore throat and cough to go along with the block nose *siGh* Since I stayed home, I took the opportunity to bath the 2 rascals cos they were dirty n stinky... :(
Both were kinda notti today... Tamy poo-ed behind the sofa this morning jus as Toby was about to go down for his morning walk and as Mr Lee went to check out where the stench came from n to clear the poo, Toby couldnt wait and pee-ed on the floor. As he was crouching to close to the floor, he managed to wet himself and made a mess... HoRRibLE!! So, he got confined in the toilet for a pretty long while and Tamy got a spanking from Mr Lee and "jailed" in her playpen...
By the time I was done bathing them, it was close to 5pm or so... *siGh* the day jus pass so fast especially when u're nt at work... Here's my 2 babies lookin all clean and smelling nice~ :) And also, feeling slpy cos I disrupted their afternoon nap by bathing them... hahaha... :Þ
Toby looks reali grumpy n angry in these pics n Tamy is her usual dopey self... hahah...
At least, my precious boy is warming up to the cam now... :) As for Tamy, I dunno what the hell she's thinking by being in that neck crunching pose with tt goofy face... hahah... :)
It's back to work tmw and I hope I recover before CNY... jus the tot of going back to work makes me sicker *siGh* Thank god for good buddies in office man or else the hours would feel longer~ Come to think of it, this week will be a long one for me since there is OT on sat once again! *HmPf!* Sick n tired of it...
I shall look forward to Sat nite's reunion dinner cum Grace's bday celebration with the girls, Toby & Tamy's grooming on Sunday (jus in time for CNY) as well as last min shopping for goodies and oranges and not forgeting my date with Lobang Queen and Boss on Monday for our hair appt... heheh... wow~ I'll be doing my pedi on tue nite and den on fri nite my mani... den it's CNY oredi... so fast... tsk tsk tsk... :)

CNY Preps....
Today seems to be the only available weekend where I'm free to prepare for the coming Lunar New Year... last sat was burnt doing OT and so will next sat... we decided to put up the CNY deco that we bought from the pasar malam last week since it's been sitting on our mahjong table. Took us about an hour to get everything up... and this is how my place looks like now... :)
As always, my kpo boy will never fail to be near anything that looks out from the ordinary... This is him checking out the fire crackers while Mr Lee was hard at work... connecting both crackers to a single out-put point and testing it to make sure that it's working before we hung it up... :)
And after we hung it, this is how it looks... :) Lovely huh?
Somehow these cherry blossoms look slightly different with the red background as well...
Not to forgot our glass door leading into the kitchen... :)
With the lights switched on, I hope our place doesnt look too red... like some red chamber n hopefully not like a temple... There has to be good omen n items that bring and symbolises luck everywhere in the house during CNY. I was not an advocate for such things when I was younger but now that I have my own home, I tend to follow what my mum does for our home... heheh... but of cos I try not to over-docorate the place too much...
When I was younger, whenever I see too many red deco at home, I'll always make a fuss n complain that it's too red or that it looks like some chin chiong house or a temple... and my parents would always say u haf to have red and items that bring fortune n luck into the house or you wouldnt be blessed with fortune n lucky during the new year... without all these new year deco, the house wouldn't have the CNY atmosphere n spirite... somehow I now tend to agree with wat was said... :)
Now that all the deco is up, wat's left is the CNY goodies and the pussy willow... :) I've ordered some cookies n bak gwa for CNY... so we're left with the pineapple tarts, kueh bulu and not forgettin my fav prawn roll... We've decided nt to get too much goodies since we wouldnt be inviting too many pple over this year... jus family n close frenz bah... plans haven been firmed up yet but shld there be a gathering at my plc, it'll be on the 7th... I'll haf to re-schedule n make-up for my OT that is to be on that day... dread~ :(
Anyway, the furries n Mr Lee were napping on the sofa while I was watching some show on tv... since the cam was jus near me... I took more pics of them... :) hahah....
And of cos, the manja girl had to lie near one of us after awhile... but i noticed that she usually goes to Garry more than she does coming to me... kekek... :) which is good in a way... den I'll have my darling boy all to myself... heheh... :) He loves lyin next to me or on me... :)
