Woke up this morning to go to work... yup u read it rite... Toby and Garry were snoozing away while i prepared lor... Toby din even bother waking up when i walked around the room. He only lifted is head when he heard me opening the room door... Wat A Lump!
Everyone in office had to go back to work today as our office will be closed on the 26 Dec... it's great that we'd be having a long break but it sucks that we had to come back to work esp on a PH cos there wasnt a single soul in town so early in the morning... *siGh* Esther was msgin me that she could even choose where to sit in the train and I was tellin her that I could change lanes along BKE and PIE anytime i wanted...
It was kinda ironic when I passed 2 lorries ferryin bangalas while on my way to work today... on both occasions, the bangalas all looked sad, moody and gloomy... I was sharing with Esther in my sms that I could really understand how they felt as I was feeling the same way as well... what to do... so gullible when they told us abt this a long time ago that it didnt occur to us what a dread this would be... oh well...
All of us stopped work at 4pm today as we had our department Birthday cum Xmas Celebrations... hmm... had something small to eat and there were gift exchanges n some other stuffs... left office abt 5.10pm n went home as I wanted to try baking the Cranberry muffins again... Bought muffin trays and cupcakes from Cold Storage yesterday as I wanted to bake Cranberry Muffin... for who else but my darling Toby...Hahaha... not bakin for Garry or myself but for our notti fella... hahah... :)
Yesterday's batch was abit of a disappointment cos it was the 1st time I baked these muffins in the oven and I'm presuming that the heat was too hot thats why the muffins were kinda burnt on the outside.
Probably also bcos I wasnt checking often enough... heheh.. Never used the oven for baking before and since we had it, it is only used to bake the Turkey and ham during our Xmas party... but Toby still loved the muffins... hehehe...
Anyway it's really easy baking these muffins... cos baking time takes about 20min or so depending on the heat of the oven... the ingredients are rather easy to get also... except maybe for the wheatflour but Market place and certain Cold Storage sells it... I haven't tried Poon Huat but I'm pretty sure they will have it as well... Anyway, besides eggs and vegetable oil, these are the ingredients required for the Cranberry Muffin.
This is how the mixture looks like and also the process of how the yummy cranberry muffins were made....
1) Sift the plain flour, wholewheat flour and baking powder into a bowl
2) Mix the vegetable oil, goat milk, honey and egg well
3) Pour the liquid mixture into the flour and fold in the mixture
4) Add the chopped cranberries into the mixture, leaving about a handful of cranberries aside
5) Fill the Muffin cups until 3/4 full
6) Poke the remaining cranberries onto the top
7) Bake for about 20min and tada... this is how the Cranberry Muffins will look like
While I was baking the first batch and busying myself with the next batch, I notice Toby sitting right in front of the oven and looking in every now and then... he looked so cartoon... as if he was guarding his precious muffins... weird but somehow I tink he knew that I was baking the muffins for him and his frenz... heehehe... yeah... will be distributing the muffins to some of the guys at work tmw... kekeke... my xmas present to them... :) Hope they love it...Anyway this was how Toby looked like earlier on... kekeke.... =Þ
Wahsay so tired liao... tink i will laze a little while more before i start packing the muffins into their respective bags for... Terry, Kryster, BeBe, Yoshi, Shiro and Shulynn's 2 dogs... aiyo.... keep forgettin their names... sorrie ah... hahaha... :) Tmw's gonna be another long day... gotta go Koko's house again cos Ryan's gonna have Xmas carolling at their place tmw nite... *siGh*
After that it would be a start of a hectic weekend in preparation for the xmas party on 25th at my parents plc... after tt, it would be another hectic preparation for my gathering... so I might be too busy and wont be able to update much happenings these few days... who knows maybe until the new year... but fret not... I will try my best whenever I can... shall be taking lots of photos too! Heheh... so till then... Merry Xmas Babes & Hunks and have A great start for the new year!!! Ho Ho Ho... :)
Steamboat on sat was good... everyone enjoyed dinner... went for coffee at Marina Mandarin after tt before catching Golden Compass... the start of the show was rather dry but the middle part onwards wasnt too bad... however, it was a real pooper when the show ended especially since things started gettin interesting... guess now have to wait for part 2 liao... darn... surely forget what happened in part 1 lor... hahaha...
Oh ya... i went to see bith iPod Classic and Creative Zen and finally decided to get the Creative Zen. Checking out the price and all with Vince before we get it.... went to crocs before dinner and bought myself a brand new pair of mary jane's... kekek... accompanied with BamBam, Pebbles and Dino from Flintstone on one side of the shoe... and a cow, lady bird and... damn... i cant remember wats the other animal i bought... kekeke... spent close to $80 sia.... *FaiNted*
It's been rather hectic the past few days... busy rushing to get last minute gifts... loads of gifts yet to be wrapped... lots of ironing to do too... Was on MC yesterday cos woke up with a swollen left eye... dunno how come oso lor... in the end doc said that it looked like the initial stage of an eye infection... so gave me some eye drops n lotion to apply on the eye every 2 hours... told me to stay away from others oso lor cos it could spread... but good thing is that the swellin has subsided... :)
Heheh... went to Lot 1 yesterday n bought a few Xmas presents n realised that I'm still short of 3 presents... jialatz man... and there i was tinking that i'd completed all the shopping... but then again there is 1 present that I have not started getting... my darling's~ Aiyo reali headache leh... dunno wat to get for him oso... hmm... good thing i know wat i wan for xmas so i told him... hahaha... :)
Bcos of all the rush and everything i forgot that we even went to Dan Ryans 2 weekends ago to celebrate van's bday lor... hahaha... haven bought her her bday gift smemore... aiyoz... sorrie ah... will include it in your xmas presents... kekeke... :) so fast coming to mid month oredi... n we would be having our company's Xmas cum Yr End party this friday... hmm... will take loads of pic i'm sure... hehehe... and on sunday it's evan's 21st Bday liao lor... got a party to attend amidst the festive preparation... jialatz ah... lots of weddings to attend to... hmm...
Received the xmas hamper from the gang on monday! Looks gorgeous lor... it's now sitting under my Xmas tree with the rest of the gifts... hehehe.... :) more presents would be added to the collection once it's been wrapped... jus the tot of hafin to wrap them gives me the aches man... kekek.. cos i'm the onli one who'll be doin the wrapping... Garry cant wrap to save his life lor... *siGh* but ok la... good thing i enjoy wrapping...heheh....
Oh ya! Jus remember that I'll be going to do my hair on sat... haven decided where i'll be doing it or what color yet... but i definately wont be cutting it short... as some of you may know, my hair is my crown of glory sia... hehehe... :) not that it's in a super good condition or wat la... but it's my precious.. hahah... :P so till then... i shall update u guys on the outcome of my crown n upcomin events...
Started wrapping the xmas gifts we bought last nite after dinner... Garry cooked my favourite carrot soup with pork ribs. celery fried with prawn and steam promfret... yummy!!~ :) Thanks baby!~ Only finished wrapping about half the presents and realised that we missed out SeeWei's present!! Goodness!! Gotta go get his present later...
Didnt wanna wake up this morning lor... but LL had to drag myself up n prepare for work... Toby looked at me like "huh y u wake up so early today... " and then he continued sleeping lor... KNS!!! He and Garry were snoozing away as i got ready for work... well at least Toby said goodbye to me before i left the house... the other one was lost smewhere in dreamland...
Came to work and had yummy beehoon breakfast bought by Esther... thanks ah... or else i tink i wont have mood and energy to do the batches lor... Those in CY's team received an email from her just before lunchtime asking if everyone was doing ok... so sweet of her... CY's on hospital leave as she had to go for a minor op but she still remembers us lor... :)

We decided to take a picture using Angie's HP to show her how sad we all were doing our batches... those who were doing Import Claims seemed troubled and in a daze... everyone looked either gloomy, sad or lost except for LiMing lor... alamak... seems like she's very happy to come back for OT sia... hahahah....
Err... but ah... there seems to be an extra person in the pic who is not in the email from CY sia... I wonder who that is... INTRUDER!!!
I just completed my batch and decided to blog before papa comes to fetch me... the whole family's going to Choong Qing Hot Pot at Suntec for steamboat dinner before watching Golden Compass... Oh Ya!! Better remember to get SeeWei's present... but after I've gone to check out my iPod Classic and Creative Vision W... cant decide which to get till now lor... hmmm....
Anyway I am rather surprised to receive a reply from CY... hehehe....

Goodness... It was a really busy weekend for me and it started on Friday nite at Velvet... hahaha... Yeap u heard it right... I went to Velvet on Friday nite to celebrate John's bday... hahaha... as usual we had a blast... u can count on it especially with this group of pple... :) thank god for the entertainment provided by the guys or else I swear I would have fainted from a migrain that I would have gotten from the music there... Hahah.... old oredi la so not into that kind of music... no start no end sia... hahahah... anyway this time round, Alvin & Jojo flew back from BKK to join us... heheh... we even had supper after that... went home feeling so tired... took quite abit of photos which I will upload soon... hahaha... Alvin even commented that pple might tink that we are a photography club lor... heheh.....I am practically living around North Bridge Road since I'm here from Mon-Fri... as if that's not enough, I had to come back to the same area on Sat and Sun... goodness... and to add on, I'll be here the next few days and even on sat since there's gonna be OT from 9-5pm... cham sia... :( At least, we've managed to finish buyin all the Xmas presents over the weekend... and we also bought more xmas deco for the house... hahaha.... on top of that, I've finally ordered my cuppies for the party... yiPpy!~What else is there to update.... Err.... we brought Toby out last nite and we met so many dogs along the way.... I tink in total at least more than 5 dogs which is more than usual... even bumped into 2 schnauzers... kekeke... he was so busy getting acquinted with them lor... hahaha... I've bought a trimmer for Toby and waiting for it to be posted to me... cant wait to use it on him... Bought Addiction New Zealand Forest Delicacies for him over the weekend and fed some to him last nite... it smells really good when i was preparing it... mixed it with his usual kibbles and he finished evything immediately. This morning when Garry fed him just his usual kibbles alone.... our fren jus stood in front of his bowl and stared at his food.... din wanna eat so Garry kept it... hmpf! Then after Garry took his bath, he tried giving the kibbles to him... initally Toby got excited but when he saw that it was jus kibbles... he continued staring at it lor... KNS... will try feeding him kibbles alone tonite... if he tries to pull a fast one on me... he will jus have to starve for a day or until he decides to eat what we feed him and not be picky... Wahsay if evytime haf to mix kibbles with the rawhide my pocket sure raw until bleed lor... not cheap sia... $30+ a box... n I doubt 1 box can last long man... my intention was to feed it to him every other day or maybe 2-3 times a week... but seems like our fren started to show color... Ha! We'll see who gets the last laugh... anyway, I'm also going to get a new retractable for him and Terry sometime soon... :)
