~Chezzels Challenge Part 2~

We had another round of challenge today and there were new contenders!! Shirley, Rendy & eLing... hahaaha.... they heard about what we did yesterday and decided to try it out as well :)

As usual, we made Elna start 1st and surprising she managed to stuff 6 into her mouth today... an improvement of 1 more from yesterday :)

Jas did really well with 8 today :)

Jez oso did well with 7 after LOTs of squeezing!! Everyone improved by 1 more it seems... :)

Shirley did not too bad for a 1st timer with 6 cheezels :)

Rendy almost become the winner for today's challenge when he managed 9 cheezels... :P

Esther managed the same amount as yesterday~ 8! Consistent... :) but she looks as if she can fit her fist in her mouth each time la! kekeke.... :P

Then it was Moi's turn at the challenge and I was crowned the Champion when I eventually fit the 10th cheezel into my mouth~ hahahaha.... it was indeed a tough and close fight~ :)

Hahahaha... now we know who has the biggest mouth liao... :P My mouth was so stuffed that when I tried smiling for the cam.. this was the outcome!

~Till We Meet Again~

After 4.5 years, the day that I both look forward to and dread is finally here... Today marks my last day working in Wiley. It's the last day I'll be fooling around with my dearies at work daily as well... I'll sorely miss all of them that's for sure... Ever since I tendered, I've been crackin my head on what to give each of them that would leave many happy memories of us together... I eventually decided to make them personalised photo frames each :) Penning my thank yous & love at the back for each of them.... *sob*

The rest of the girls had theirs before I went for my exit interview this afternoon...

These I saw a couple of weeks back while I was at Vivo City and I thought it was so appropriate for Esther & David! :) I had initially tot of giving this to them for their 1st Wedding Anniversary this October but who knew that I would be leaving before then... So I decided to pass it to her today :) An earli anniversary gift with love from Garry & me... :P

As for some of my other colleagues with whom I'm closer to, these were what I gave... I hope the colorful windmills would brighten their day at work and would bring a smile on their faces as windmills are something cheerful and happy :) The day would be so much brighter when u have something in front of u tt reminds u of fun & happiness... :) As for me I have pics of my precious duos, their furpals & pawrents to keep me smiling when the goin gets tough & miserable... :)

I was very touched when Michelle came back for a visit and to say good bye to me yesterday:) Thanks boss... :) I look forward to seeing more updates on Matthew and Shannon ya~ :)

~~ Cheezels Challenge ~~

There was an impromptu Bo Liao challenge at work yesterday as Elna mentioned the day before that she could stuff 8 cheezels into her mouth without crushing it... hahahahah..... a feat that we knew was impossible cos Elna has 1 of the smallest mouth ever!!! :)

We had my farewell lunch at BluJazz as Elna couldn't make it tmw... :)

After that we went in search of Cheezels so that we could have the challenge in the pantry since we still had time during lunch... :)

1st up was Elna.... but she only managed 5! Haha... we were right!! :P

Den it was Priya... and she managed 6!! :)

And Jessica managed 6 too :P

Esther was our hero who managed 8!!! FwAh!! Very BIG MOUTH sia... :P

I wasnt too bad too.... I did 7!! :)

After much deliberation, I've finally bought my new kite!! :) Priya & Jez also tagged on their kite orders and our kites were delivered to me last fri!! :) We can all go kite flyin on sat together... woohoo~ :)

We celebrated my MIL's bday last weekend and had dinner at Zhou's kitchen which we'd booked a month in advance. The food wasnt too bad and we enjoyed ourselves especially the kids... :) Didnt take much pic of the food during dinner. Anyway, we walked abit after dinner and I managed to get some shots of the kids before we head back to my in-law's place to cut the birthday cake :)

Angie's official last day is the coming Monday and as most of our kakis wouldnt be around on that day (cos of the World Cup & Esther wld be in Taiwan), we decided to bring forward her farewell lunch to today. At the same time, we were celebrating Elna's promotion to Senior Production Editor!! Woohoo~ Congrats to the both of u ah... :)

Earlier in the day, Angie distributed her hand-made gifts to us :) Thanks babe and I'm hoping that one day, your Edelweiss will really exist ah :)

We had lunch at Swenson's and Angie gave us Part 2 of her parting gift to us... :)

I'll have 1 more day with Angie at work on Monday before I say my goodbyes to her :) My last 2 weeks in office would definately be a quiet and boring one now that she's no longer around :( *siGh* Good thing I still have the others... :) But it wouldn't be for long too. I dread to think of work without my kakis with whom I always talk to, joke and fool around with daily the minute I reach office.

My lst day would come soon too and I'm pretty sure that I'll feel the same as how Angie feels on her last day... Happy cos it's finally here yet sad cos we'd be leaving our dears whom we've been seeing 5 days a week and at times more frequently if we had steamboat & mahjong or salon sessions during the weekend for the last 4.5 years.... :"(

A Humbling & Memorable Experience

1st July 2010 marks the 42nd year since the inception of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). The SAF Day is a day for members of the armed forces to reaffirm their pledge of loyalty and dedication to the SAF as well as the nation. His Excellency, President S R Nathan, DPM & Minister of Defence and Minister of Education, together with CDF and the Service Chiefs graced the event.

This year's SAF Day would be a day we will remember for years to come as it holds more meaning to Garry and I as we would be part of the invited guests list. Garry is 1 of the 15 nominated Best NSman for 2010 and this is the 1st year this is being award to NSmen. It was a priviledge and honour for us to mingle with high ranking officers of the force as well as delegates from the different countries.

This is my 1st close encounter with the President, the ministers as well as the Chief of Army. Initially, I thought that I would get tongue tied and nervous in their pressence but to my relief, my fear was uncalled for :) While I was conversing with President Nathan, I felt very much at ease and it felt as if I was talking to my grandfather. It was such an endearing and humbling experience to be able to hold a conversation with a man of his stature.

What I will remember most is the President holding on to my hand throughout our conversation and photo taking session :) His 1st question to me was "How are you enjoying yourself?" and subsequently he went on to ask where I was working at and I even manage to have a picture taken with him, which came out blur... *siGh* :(

While accompanying Garry on stage to receive his award, I kept having this fear that I might trip over my own feet in front of everyone... Thank god I wasnt the least bit clumpsy and thanks to my parents who taught me how to speak well :) I was able to hold a short conversation with DPM & Minister of Defence Mr Teo Chee Hian :)

Some of his questions to me were "Do you have any kid?" Hahaha... and my answer to that was... Ünfortunately not at the moment" He then went on to ask if we intend to have any kids and when do we plan to have our 1st... God!~ And I of cos had to give the politically right answer. Hehehehe..... :)

During the mingling session, we also had the opportunity to speak to then newly appointed Chief of Army Chan Choon Seng (refer to last photo) who used to be Garry's CO about 10 year ago. He still remembers Garry by his angmo name instead of calling him by his surname or initials on his uniform. This man is a high flyer and a person that everyone should emulate from and it has been my priviledge to be able to make small talk and even have him share stories of his 2 kids with us :) He doesnt have any airs around him and is very down to earth which is so rare for a man of his status.

1 July 2010 is truely a memorable experience at least for me and I am proud of my love's achievements in the SAF as well as in our daily lives. This would be one of the many stories I will be able to share with my kids and hopefully grandkids one day in the future :)

We celebrated Angie's birthday in 2 parts on wednesday... during lunch, we headed over to Nandos for lunch... :) We've always wanted to try it out but never got a chance to :P

After work, we headed home and met up again around 11pm at Zouk!!! :) While waiting for the birthday girl to come, we headed over to Velvet for some drinks :)

Happenings in the month of June~

Lots have been happening this month :) Been lazy to update... :P but I've finally found time to do so now... :) But the best news of all is that, I'm finally moving on to a new environment soon... after almost 4.5yrs, it's finally my turn to say Goodbye soon... and it all started with 1 of my kakis leaving 1st... hehehehe.... :) when 1 goes, the rest will start to move out of the comfort zone too.... life goes on... pple move on... but I'm sure our friendship will still continue and we will still be seeing each other frequently... :P we need to fulfill n setup our Golden Years Hypermart... :P hahahaha.....

Anyway, my month was filled with lots of activities... Beerfest 2010 was one of it and I enjoyed myself tremendously... especially Killer Queens performance... They Rock!!!!!!! :D

Everything in this post is long overdue :| We've been busy with so many activities and gatherings that I havent got much time to sit in frontof the pc to blog... finally I've managed to find time today to upload the pics and even photobucket is so cooperative today as it took minutes to load so many pics... so here I am... :)

1st up, we attended Natalie's 1st Birthday party last weekend. Before leaving the house, I woke up much earlier to bake some meat balls for the furries and also for their fur pals, Bebe, Terry & Tommy. The duos started getting excited as the smell of the baked beef balls filled the house and they decided that it would be a better choice of lingering around the kitchen... :P

We then went to Goodwood Park to collect some pre-ordered goodies and headed over to Angie's place thereafter. We were the 1st to arrive with lots of pressies for everyone... :) Durian puffs and durianmisu for everyone, pressies for the little ones and some home-made yummies for Bebe :)

After Serene's place, we headed down to ECP and met up with Zhi and Angie to go cycling :) Borrowed a carrier from Serene for Toto.... :P

This time round, Angie's parents came to ECP with them and after almost 2 hours of cycling, we headed down to Beach Cabana for dinner :)

The weather was rather cooling and we stayed on after Angie and family left as the kids were getting sleepy... by the time we got home it was close to midnite and we had been out for more than 1/2 a day... It was a really long day for us and so was saturday~

We woke up about 9am and headed down to Hougang to meet up with Angie and Priya as we had an appointment with Marcus... :) Priya finally had time to rebond her hair and Angie decided to do treatment. In the end, she left the salon with curls... :P hehehe... Nicholas was there as well and we had a really fun time at the salon... I spent quite a while at the salon going in and out until almost 3pm... hahaha....

After so many activities, I am finally able to put aside time to groom my precious duos today... :) I managed to finish bathing the both of them in record time today. Took me less than 3 hours!~ :) Toby & Tamy recently received a little something from Auntie Jessica when she went for a short trip to HK... The sun screen squeaky is for Tamy while the No 1 Trophy is for Toby :) Thanks Auntie Jessica :) The duos love the squeaky sound especially Tobz!~

After their bath, they started playing and I jus had to take more pics of them. Sometimes I really wonder why they never looks this good when I send them for bathing at the groomers... :| They dun really come back looking all white and fluffy... hmm...

Tamy was more willing to take pics today and wasnt so occupied with the new toys. Hence, I managed to get more goofy pics out of her :)

Well this marks the end of a long weekend... it will be a while before we get our next break in August. It'll be back to work tomorrow once again... *siGh* Please let the weekend come soon...

Happy Mother's Day to all mummies!!!~ :) We went out for Mother's Day dinner last nite and at the very last minute, we decided to head down to Kuishin-Bo for dinner since I've been hearing rave reviews of this place. DomDomDom 123 we are Kuishin Bo...hehehe... :P

As it was a last minute decision, we were not able to make any reservations and had to turn up as walk-in customers... good and bad la... we were given one tiny space but it was rather cozy :)

I enjoyed myself even though there were limited food that I could take... but since I was able to eat seafood, it made my day that they had alaskan snow crab :) for the price we paid, it was worth it... :) The food spread was v good... the dessert counter wasnt too bad as well... :) Depending on which day of the week you went, there were different price range :) We paid about $40++ per head... :)

Hmm.... Esther said we look alike... do we really look more n more alike? Hahaha.... cos Mr Lee getting rounder? And I'm losing more weight? hahahaha.... :P

If you realised, there isnt any pic of Van. She's next to me but most of the time, she's out taking food... hahaha... this is the 1st time I've seen her eat so much cos usually she's so fussy when it comes to food :) There was also grilled food outside but I didnt go out cos it was so smokey and I didnt want to smell. But there was Lamb, beef, lobster, prawns, scallop and chicken.... :)

After dinner, we headed over to Best Denki where we bought a sound system from Samsung, den we went to That CD Shop and bought a few movies before heading back to Hougang to fix evything up and started watching Avatar! :) It was like watching a midnite show as by the time we left, it was close to 3am :P heheheh....

Korean Dinner at Chinatown

Met up with Sara, Van and Grace for dinner last week and they decided to go to this Korean place located at Chinatown....

The food wasnt too bad but it could have been beta. The kim chi soup was too thick for my liking and we didnt really finish tt... After dinner, we headed down to this shop tt sells toiletries and stuff and I found some rather good buys there too... :)

~~ Operation KL ~~

Our long awaited trip finally arrived and we headed over to KL during the Labour Day weekend :) We met up earli in the morning and set off once everyone arrived :)

The room that we were assigned was big! Apart from the soft pillows and not so cool aircon, everything else was great! :)

Angie & Nicky came over to our room while Mr Cheng saw to some arrangements for their room's aircon which was worse than ours.

Nicky was v happy to stay in the room with Garry and myself while Angie went to check out Mr Cheng's progress. There was even some pole dancing done... heheh...

After Nicky had his bath, it was SHOPPING TIME!! :) We all headed down to Sungei Wang where we had lunch and shop shop shop :)We eventually met up with the husbands at Coffeebean where they were resting :P

We even made a toast to Jasmine and posted it on FB as it was her Birthday on Labour Day :) Happy Birthday Jasmine!!~ :)

Shortly after, it was more shopping :)

As it was starting to look like it was gonna rain, Angie headed back to the hotel with Nicky as he was sleeping, Esther and David went on to Low Yat and Priya & myself continued walkin within Berjaya Times Square where we decided to go for the Fish Spa! :) It was Priya's and Dinesh's 1st time... kekeke....

After that, we met up with Steph and Danny :) Before heading over to Soo Kee for dinner :)

The paper chicked was SUPERB!! Den all the other food came and I was too busy eating that I forgot to take more pics :P

We hung out for awhile deciding where to meet the next day before we headed back to the hotel :) s it was gettin quite late, Angie didnt join the rest of us at the lounge after we freshened up :)

We were up the next day and headed over to this HK Restaurant located near Sugei Wang :) Had breakie there before we made our final round of shopping and bought loads of hair products :)

All in all, our trip was a success!! :) And hopefully, we'll be able to plan for another roadtrip soon... to Desaru perhaps? kekeke... These were some of my buys from KL :)

~~ Byebye MerMer, We Miss U ~~

Today's officially the last day that Emma will be with us... she spent the whole day with T&T and in the evening, Garry brought all 3 of them over to fetch me and as usual, they were all excited when they saw me walking to the car :P Emma was seating on Garry's lap and she started screaming when she saw me :) Soon, Tamy also joined in the fun. Hehehe...

It was overwhelming sitting in the back seat with all 3 of them... everyone was rushing towards me tryin to lick me and wanting rubs n kisses... the most manja was Emma... she ended up sitting on my lap the whole journey as we made our way to Benji Pets Kennel where Toby & Tamy would be boarding at the next 2 days. I'm praying v hard that they'll be alright there and wont run away when they are let loose inside the shop, especially my Toby. I've left instuctions with auntie Helen and also her workers that they MUST be vigilent when Toby is let out and I hope that they are....

Anyway, after we left them, we headed down to ECP for a short walk with Emma before heading over to Beach Cabana for dinner. I'm liking this place more n more :) Price is reasonable, food portion is good and tasty and staff are attentive. Since our last visit there and after submitting the feedback to them, there was 1 improvement... ehehe... when we settled down at our table, almost instantly, another staff approached us with a bowl of ice water for Emma... WOW!~ I was impressed :)

During my previous visit, I wrote in my feedback form that it would be good if they could also servce water to owners who brought their dogs there and they did it... :) I hope to see more improvements there... and since we're members now, I foresee frequenting this place often with the furries :) who knows... maybe our next outing can be located there.... can call to enquire further since they allow dogs in their premise. Serene... idea boh? heheheh.... :Þ

As always, I had to take pics to serve as memories... I'm quite a sentimental person too... :Þ And I love it that Emma's with us n tt she's happy staying with us :) I'm oredi missing all 3 of them... unwittingly, I keep turning to make sure tt my roller chair doesnt run over her paw... but she's not here... also when i stretch my legs i do it slowly so as not to kick the duos who will always be under the table but they too are not here tonite... *SiGh*

~~ What A Week This Has Been ~~

This week has been an advanturous one for us with so many happenings around... :) Apart from having Emma with us, there were 2 joyous news... :) Zena and Joelle have both delivered their darlings within the same week... Congratulations to The Hon's on the arrival of your Little Prince Emmanuel & to The Lok's on the arrival of your Little Princess Melody!!~

It's amazing how the week has flown past. We had Emma for almost a week. On the 2nd day, she stopped peeing all over the place and instead it was cut down to maybe only once if not never... :) Clever Girl Emma... I'm gonna miss having this little dino with us when she goes home to her mummy tomorrow...

Having her stay with us the last week... our floor has been v clean with the constant cleaning... hahaha... but most importantly, Emma and Tamy has learnt to get along with each other... No more scream or cat fights between the 2. In fact, they've gotten so close that they can sleep side by side n lean against each other now, play with each other, share a bowl of water together, Emma also allowed Tamy to lie n rest ON TOP of her and most endearing... Emma sat outside the toilet after her bath waiting for Tamy who was having hers to finish... Awwww.... :)

During her stay with us, she has allowed me to see another side of her tt I rarely ever get the chance to. At each gatherings, she would be so bz screaming, sniffing n checking out other dogs that she is rarely still. But with us, I have seen the babyish n manja side of Emma that will linger in my memory and I have learnt to love this other side of her :) She is a v manja girl, apart from wanting rubs n scratching my hand demanding for more rubs, she loves to snuggle up next to u or lean or lie on yr lap when u watch tv. She does the same when we sleep as well... :P

Today, she has decided to rub n roll herself all over my face as I was lying on the sofa :) something tt Serene said she is selective on who she does this with... heheh... and I am touched that she wants to rub herself all over my face... :) She loves to follow me around the house and I love having her around. Unknowingly, I always keep a look out for her each time as well... :) And she has been my constant companion in the study whenever Im using the PC :) She'll sit behind the chair n nap while accompanying me... such a darling... I'm going to miss her so much esp her rolling over my face and her paw scratching asking for more rubs :)

I will miss her whines, her soft screams when she get excited seeing us come home everyday, her soft growls n purring that she makes when she's aslp. Yes she makes this cute noises when she's aslp at times... heheh... I will miss her jumpin on my bed every morning when she plays catch with Toby & Tamy. Somehow, all 3 of them will end up on my bed and that is how I've been waking up the last few days :) Jumps from Emma and licks on my face.. den she will lie on her belly and ask for rubs... heheheh.... :) when she's done, sometimes she'll start digging... I'm going to miss all these...

Well... I decided to bath all 3 of them today as we'd be sending T&T for boarding tomorrow before sending Emma home to Serene. We'd be driving up to KL for the Labour Day week and will be back on Sunday :P Didnt wanna trouble Serene to care for them as I'm sure she'll still be busy settling in her new place :) And since all 3 of them were looking so good, I had to take more pics of them... :P

I'm sure Toby & Tamy will miss her lots when she goes home tomorrow and I will miss having her around too :) Kekeke... next round mayb both Ebi and Emma can stay over hor hor Serene :P Hehehe....

Well, it's finally Friday :) Though I'm alittle sad that we have to send Emma home oredi and Toby & Tamy for boarding, but I'm looking forward to driving up to KL with Angie, Priya and Esther... We'll be meeting up with Steph & Corey as well... Lots of catching up & laughing is gonna happen... WooHoo!!~ :)

We came home to all 3 furries greeting us happily... Emma poo-ed in the playpen, 1 lump on the tray n 1 on the floor... and being the fussy girl she is, I'm sure she didnt want to pee on her tray so there was a puddle of pee jus in front of it. I wonder how long the pee was there as there wasnt much foot prints near the pee :) but she got excited when she saw us and 1 of her hind legs went into the puddle *dread* but at least until now, she hasnt made any mistakes :) hehehe.... hopefully this continues on....

The furries are now happily playing with one another... Chasing each other n I must say that Tamy and Emma are getting along better than I expected :) Apart from the occassion screams, they actually can be together... be it to laze on the sofa or to play :) I managed to capture a short clip of them while they were playing as well as Toby being surrounded by the 2 girls... he was singing to me but I only managed to capture the ending... :)

The Beef slices with chinese parsley and mixed herb wing tips that I prepared for them are ready for consumption and as I was packing it into their containers, I fed some to them... :)

Mummy has been busy the last 2 days since Emma jiejie came to stay with us... Korkor and I had a shock when we saw Emma jiejie in mummy's arms when they came home on sat. We were supposed to go cycling at ECP but the weather wasnt cooperating with us... Mummy was quite sad tt she couldnt bring us out... I was v sad as it meant that I had to stay in my playpen while mummy and daddy went out while korkor could roam the house... so when they left the house, we didnt know that it was to run some errands before fetching Emma jiejie over... :)

Anyway, I was let out of the playpen and started jummping n scratching at both mummy and daddy and i had to smell Emma jiejie's butt cos she didnt smell the same as me or korkor... Soon, we all settled down and Emma jiejie gave me a fright cos she seemed like she wanted to pounce on me and me being the scardy cat, gave out a loud yell n Emma jiejie tot that I was yelling at her... I couldnt back down n soon the yelling match started...

Den Emma jiejie got sick of me n started to pounce on korkor n korkor being the brave one took up the challenge! They started jumping on each other n chasing one another around the living room and I started to feel left out. I didnt want Emma jiejie to play with MY korkor so i got angry n jealous n started to jump off the sofa n gave Emma jiejie my power screams! But I lost!~ Emma jiejie was fiercer than me and got angry cos I disturbed their play... soon i was made to sit next to daddy on the sofa while korkor continued playin with Emma jiejie... HMPF! I really dun like to be left out but Emma jiejie is so fierce and I dare not play with them...

After more than an hour, the both of them stopped and Emma jiejie started to get EMO! I would be emo too if i wasnt with korkor all the time... I would be worst than Emma jiejie cos mummy said that I have a chicken heart and depended on korkor way too much... Soon, the 3 of us got tired and started lazing on the sofa with Mummy & Daddy. As always, mummy couldnt stop takin pics of us... And mummy caught Emma jiejie napping~

And we too followed suit :)

After a short nap, Emma jiejie woke up n started wondering around... tt's when she pee-ed on the floor... Aiyoz... korkor n me panic n quickly went to hide... HnG! Emma jiejie got off easily with only a TAP on her backside n scolding from mummy. HPMF! If that was ME! I tell u i would have gotten a good walloping oredi... :( On her 1st nite, Emma jiejie kept walkin around and kept going to the door tinking that her mummy was coming to fetch her...

Den she got emo again n lay down on the floor facing the door...

We all went to bed last nite and Emma jiejie made these weird noises while we were sleeping but being the pig that we are, it didnt affect our sleep at all... :) Today, mummy's helper came to clean the house and Emma jiejie screamed the house down that it woke mummy up... after lunch mummy n daddy had to run some errands and I was once again back in my little home and so was Emma jiejie :) As always, only korkor was out roaming around...

Mummy came home with many bags and while she & Daddy were busy in the kitchen, the 3 of us lingered around to watch them... jus in case there was something for us to eat... and mummy caught korkor n Emma smooching!! Buahaha.... Jester korkor!!!!

Mummy den told us to sit as we were about to walk into the kitchen and we tot that it was mum mum time... we were cheated!~ Korkor and Emma jiejie are so silly to smile for mummy... I gave her my buah song look cos there was nothing to eat!

But we had our treats twice today though normally we'll have it once n only after daddy n mummy came home from work. While mummy fed us our treats, Emma jiejie bit on mummy's finger... We were in for a treat as well as mummy made HCF for us and we feasted on it. Emma jiejie wanted to steal my portion as she finished hers and I started growling at her... den she tried on korkor n he too growled at her... so she ended up licking her own bowl to make sure that she didnt left anything behind... hehehe... :P I'm sure she had more than me cos she burped at mummy when she was cleaning her mouth.

After mummy & daddy had dinner, they had mango for dessert and we tot that we'd have some... but once again we were cheated and I could only look at them enjoying themselves... :(

Korkor was the greedy one and kept looking...

And when she woke up, it was photo-taking time again... I was grumpy cos I had no dessert :| but i eventually gave in... :P

Needless to say, korkor always smiled for mummy... silly him~

That's how we spent our weekend... mummy said the floor is so clean now cos she has been wiping the floor non-stop that she lost count on the number of times she had to do it... the last wipe was at about 9+ at nite... Emma jiejie pee-ed right in front of mummy in the living room and this time round... mummy couldnt control her temper cos Emma jiejie did it right in front of her n she was looking at her while she pee-ed... :( Wrong move... I learnt never to do the wrong things right in front of mummy cos that would give her a chance to correct me at the same time... I've learnt my lessonsssss well....

Anyway, Mummy got up n walked to Emma jiejie n gave her a good spank on her bum while she was pee-ing... *OOPS* I think Emma jiejie got a shock n wasnt expecting the spank... Auntie Serene please dun be angry with mummy cos she spanked Emma jiejie on her backside k... it was jus tt once n she was so mad cos Emma jiejie pee-ed while looking at mummy... other than that Emma jiejie has been gettin away with only scoldings unlike me :(

I've been tellin Emma jiejie not to pee n poo any old how oredi... I hope she remembers this... Other than that, I've heard mummy telling daddy that Emma jiejie is actuali a good girl... but she still misses Ebi korkor and I miss him too... cos Ebi korkor is v gentle and he will not scream at me and I can play too too train with Ebi korkor... Now I only watch Emma jiejie play with korkor from a corner... I hope to join in their play soon... hopefully without getting any screams from Emma jiejie.... she's nice to me only when she is sleepy cos she wouldnt mind that I go too near her to sniff.... :)

I mentioned that mummy came home with many bags earlier today and she bought many things for many people :) As routine, mummy bought our food... :) And this time round, apart from the beef and veg, mummy bought chicken wing tips to dehydrate too... she marinated the wings with mixed herbs and the beef slices with chinese parsley before dehydrating it... YUMMY!!~ the kitchen smells delicious... :) and the 3 of us keep going in...

Mummy also prepared HCF for the 3 of us too... :) Daddy said that Emma is thinner than korkor n needs some fattening up... he feels all her bones whenever he sayangs her... :) Hopefully Emma jiejie will gain abit more mass... but not too much or else Serene jiejie's jian fei efforts for her will be wasted :P Mummy also packed some treats for our friend Bebe and will be passing it to auntie Angie tmw... I hope he loves it as much as we do :)

I thought that this was all the buying mummy did today but i was so wrong... while they were at Yew Tee, mummy bought some stuff for her god-son Nicholas... I Love him as much as mummy does... but he hasnt come over to our house for awhile... the last I saw him was when we went cycling at ECP... These were the bargains that mummy bought for him...she said Natalie meimei will have hers when she grows older :)

Mummy said she was so happy to be able to find these puzzles cos these were what auntie Angie had been looking for... Puzzles with pictorial guide printed on the back :)

These are not all... mummy ordered some iphone casings sometime back and they have finally been delivered to her at about 10+ last nite... :) Auntie Angie and auntie Esther will also be getting a little something from mummy... She hopes that they like it though... :) Hmm... y cant I have any? I like blink things too...

Yup the time of the week that I love most is finally here... this weekend would be slightly different from our other weekends becos we will be hosting a guest at our place for a week :) I've been looking forward to her staying over cos she's never been at our place before. She'll be with us from 24-30 April :P Woopie~ Who you might think? Well... she's loveable, easily jealous, loves cuddles and rubs and can be v loud at times... :) She's Ebi's meimei, EMMA :)

Serene's gonna be busy shifting homes, packing and unpacking and is worried that she wont have time for the duo so we're keeping 1 of them with us... If only darling Ebi is coming to stay with us as well... HEAVEN!! :) I cant imagine what it'll be like to have 4 MS at home for a week... I tink it'll be so fun :) I loved having Ebi with us the last time and till now he's still affectionate when he sees us... Aawww.... I Miss tt fella :) This round, Ebi's gonna be stayin wuith 1 of Serene's friend so Emma's coming to us :P

Tamy and Emma have certain similarities... they're both white, they sit very unsightly for females and they're both screamers :P Another thing about them is that they look alike when they were pups... No they're not siblings... Can you tell who's who below? :P

My little girl is not little anymore :P She's grown over the last 2 years and is now almost the same size as Toby... In fact, she is less than 1kg lighter than him during the last weigh in.... horrible... :P

She's turned white and Big and weighs 6.4kg now :) Toby has put on abit of weight and is now 6.9kg but he's still kinda boney when you touch him. I'm hoping that he'll go up to about 7.2kg :) hehehe... alittle bit more flesh would be nice~

I love how clean, fluffy n smelling heavenly they are jus after their bath... :) this look wont last long..., after about 2 or 3 days max... they'll start smelling like pandan leaves and will have this messy look... Aiyoz... especially Toby as he goes down for his walks daily. Tamy doesnt but she'll still be dirty cos she loves rubbing herself around Toby when he comes home from his walks :| *dread* so she'll also smell n look dirty like him... :P

Well, we're looking forward to tomorrow or should I say a few hours time, I hope the weather is good n not wet so that we can go cycling... :) But of cos, we'll be going to fetch Emma 1st :) hehehe.... I will update more post of what it's like to have Emma stay with us and the entics that these 3 will be up to :P I can't wait for next week cos it'll be sort of a long weekend for me and I'll be going up with my kakis to KL to meet up with Steph :)

Met up with the girlies yesterday for dinner and before that I met Sharron at Millenia :) It's been so long since I stepped into that place and there has been some changes. The newly opened Parco reminded me of some shopping centres in Bangkok. It had small shops in every level... the prices of things arent too expensive too... so if u happen to be around the area, this is one place u can pop over to.

We headed over to Marina Square at about 6+ to meet up with the others and we headed over to Sukiya for dinner :) We were all so famished that though the camera was on the table, none of us touched it to take any photos... heheh... :) These were the only pics we took :P

After we had our dessert, it was time to take more pics with the birthday girl :) We didnt get a cake this time cos everyone would have been too full for it. Instead, we decided on a Strawberry tart from TCC.

After dinner, we headed over to the Bowling alley to try our luck but the waiting list for a lane was so long. In the end, LianHoon and kids went home and the rest us headed over to our favourite lounge at Marina Mandarin :) We stayed there till pass 1am and Garry also managed to join us there after his friend's wedding dinner. It was good to be able to catch up with the rest and share my stories with them... We'd be meeting up next sat for cycling and this time round, Sharron, Grace and Zhi would be joining us :) Woopie!~

I do hope that Emma would be coming to stay with us too den I'll be able to bring her for cycling with us as well... :) Looks like it might be a mini dog gathering as GiGi and ToTo might be coming along as well.. I cant wait for the week to pass soooon!!! :)

That's how I felt when I realised that my previous blog tempplate got completed deleted while I was trying to add the Naffnang banner on my blog! *sigh* I was in shock when only a screen full of symbols appeared and almost wanted to cry. I guess it was hightime I made changes to my blog... :) I was desperately searching for blog skins and came across this which I felt looked fun and light hearted. Not so girly or childish and yet not that gawdy as well :) I guess this will be my new look from now... :) I've also decided to change the color scheme of my entry from this post on... :P

I've been working on creating this new template since 10pm and I've finally managed to get it to look the way I want.... except for one thing! How do I make the body of my post bigger to at least be able to publish 2 landscape pics side by side? I've tried ameneding the size for everything but I cant seem to figure out where the problem is... it either gets too huge that the alignment is all over the place or it overlaps each other... *siGh* so I've decided to leave it as such for now until a kind soul helps me out or until I have time to figure it out :P

As least its the weekend oredi :) I've been looking forward to my weekends. We wont be cycling or kite flying this weekend but there is a high possibility of bowling. I'll be meeting up with my girlies to celebrate Zhi's birthday later today :) Mr Lee wont be joining us this time round as he will be helping out with his friend's wedding the whole day. I hope his dinner ends early so that he'll be able to meet up wit us.

As I'm ending this post, Mr Lee has woken from his slumber and is preparing to leave home to go over to his friends plc soon. Kite Flying and My Buys... :)

The weather on sunday was jus rite for kite flying... windy n not too hot in the evening. So at about 5pm, we headed down to Punggol to meet LianHoon and family. Our 1st stop was to fetch Van & Sara as they too wanted to go fly a kite... When we reached our destination, the field was pack and so was the sky... there were many kites in different shapes, sizes and color... it was a very beautiful and relaxing sight... :)

We wasted no time and started to join in the fun. 1 thing about kite flying, it's not as easy as u think it is... it took us many tries before we finally got our kite up... :P It was really a sight to see our kite flying so high :)

As it was getting dark, we decided to call it a wrap :) But as we were keepin our kites, there were many who had blinking lights on the kite and it was a sight in the sky :)

We also brought Toby & Tamy along with us and Tamy had a good time running after us on the field and she started digging as if she was at the beach. Oh gosh... she managed to get her beard all orangy from the mud and I had to take her aside to start cleaning her... she wanted a mud bath when she jus had her bath on friday... :

And these are the 2 kites that Van and Sara brought with them but these were never up in the sky... time to get proper flights my dear sisters :P

Kite flying is so much fun. Though it takes skills and patience as well :) I cant wait to go fly my kite again :) and i hope this time round, it'll be easier to get our kite up in the sky :P We headed back home for dinner and I took some random shots of the 2 boys and my dad's fishes...

Work was ok today... it would have been better if it was still the weekend... but thanks to greats pals at work... it was easier to pass thru the day :) I was on the phone with Angie and Esther was fooling around with the cam. And she was comparing to see who was darker... hmm... the pic says it all... :P

Apart from my new trackshoes, I've finally taken pics of the rest of the stuff I bought :) These were either recently bought or bought quite some time back but were only recently collected... :)

~*~ Lunch at Marche on Fri ~*~

Time always pass super fast whenever you're having fun and enjoying yourself... My weekend started at 12pm on Friday with my dearies at work :) We headed down to 313 for lunch at Marche and we had loads of fun n laughter... :) Thanks for all the wonderful moments we had guys!~

After more than 2 hours, we decided to leave and head down to the stores... :P

Well, we headed to many locations... Paragon, Isetan, Far East, 313 and many MNG outlets :P After we spilt, Esther and I headed to the HK Cafe for a drink n to rest our feet. After that she headed off to meet David while Sara and I continued our journey around town once again with Grace :) Our last stop was Central and it was my 1st time there. Hahahah.... :P All in all, I spent almost 12 hours in town *pHew* before heading home around 11+. But it was lots of fun... Guys we should do this 1/2 day lunch thing again ro take all the frustration from work off...

~*~ Cycling at ECP on Sat ~*~

We were praying for good weather on sat and it turned out that the weather was perfect :) not too hot for cycling at all... It was breezy as well... :) Good weather for outdoor activities and boy was it crowded at ECP. We were supposed to meet Angie and Lian Hoon at 5pm but i was slightly later :P But once there, we wasted no time and started choosing our bikes :) I'm sure Nicholas enjoyed himself lots and even Toby and Tamy came along with us and they too enjoyed their ride v much.

Tamy was abit of a kan chiong spider if I rode too fast and she would rest 1 paw on my hand while resting her hind legs on the bar of the bike... goodness... It must have look so cartoon la... hehehe.... anyway there were other who were amused with them and they also become celebrities for a few min as tourist from 1 of the muslim countries actually approached us to take pics of them in their carriers and they also started patting them. I was surprised....

Tamy was happy with the attention but Toby on the other hand didnt quite like the attention and after abt 2min he barked at them... hehehe.... :) but they were ok with it... and started laffing before we said our goodbyes and continued with our ride :)

The proce was also ok as it came with a reel that was easy to use... :) After that, we spilt and I headed off to meet Serene at her place :) While waiting, I took pics of our shoes... :)

Darling Ebi came down with Serene and he still recognises us and starting tugging n whinning when i called him... :) Aiyoz such a dear boy :) we stood there talkin and talkin i tink for almost an hour... gosh!~ :P I'll take pics of what i collected and post it in my next post :) We den headed home and Toby was once again in his nuah mode on the way home.

We had alot of fun the last 2 days and today, we decided that instead of playing badminton, we're going kite flying... woohoo!! :P Will be meeting LianHoon at about 5.30pm and it'll be our 1st time flying such a big kite :) Come to think of it, yesterday was also my 1st time going cycling with Mr Lee after knowing hime for almost 10 years!!! Goodness... hahaha.... :P

It's been awhile....

Since my last update, nothing has changed too drastically... there are definately changes that some might be happy with while others arent. But that's life. Be it change at work, change at home or changes in friends. Not every change is everyone's cup of tea. Not every change is welcome by everyone. Some may feel that I cant be bothered about the changes around me while others feel that I'm optimistic. To me, I feel that I'm neither extremes.

I choose to feel that as long as this change doesnt affect my personal life, I'm impartial to it. I believe that there will always be changes everywhere and it matters more how u let those changes affect you. Change is inevitable. There must be changes for improvement and for one to move on. For me, I wouldnt want any change to affect me in a negative way because if it does, i bring all the negativity back home with me n allow it to affect my personal life as well. Is there a point then? My answer is No.

Life is short. The hours left in a day after work is also short. Though work is important cos it brings back the dough, a balance in one's life is equally important. There are different priorities for everyone. Someone once asked me between work, money, love, family & friends, which is my 1st priority in life and which is the least. I feel that all are equally important but if i have to list, my top priority in life would be Love, Family & Friends, Money and lastly work. Having said that, I'm sure that there are others who put work n money before the others... So.... to each their own... as I've mentioned, everyone has differnt priorities in life.

I'm jus happy that this is another short week for me as I'll be on 1/2 day tmw :) Woohoo!~The weekend officially starts at noon tomorrow :) Plans have been made and I'm sure we're all looking forward to this impromptu gathering :) I always look forward to the weekends and I pack my weekends with loads of activities cos that's the time I spend with people who matters most to me n whom I treasure & love. Which also explains why my weekends end too soon and I'd always wish for longer ones.

In any case, this weekend is no different too. I've planned to go cycling with some friends, family and my 2 furkids den proceed for dinner and if the weather's good, a walk to enjoy the breeze :) Finally, I'll be using their carrier that I bought sometime back for this purpose... hehehe... So i'm praying for good weather this sat...:P I'll also be meeting Serene to collect some of the stuff that we bought... hehehe.... thanks to her very good lobang and for always organising sprees for us :)

We were supposed to bring the furries out today but as Garry had to go back to work, they once again had to stay home... Good thing that work didnt keep him at the office for too long. Waited for him to come back n we left home about 3pm for lunch. I was jus so sick of cookin n eating the same food for the pass 10 days and decided that today, I'm gonna go out for fish soup! :) It was super yummy!

After lunch we headed down to IMM as I wanted to go Daiso to get some stuff... and after that we headed down to Giant as I wanted to get a Digital bathroom scale... since I'm on a diet so I decided what the hell maybe its time i invested in one. Didnt wanna spend too much on a digital scale so tot I'd try my luck there.

Our 1st stop was at guardian and we found one... it was about $26 but it was so so onli for me cos I didnt reali like how it looked. Since we had to get some other stuff in Giant, we decided to cross over to try our luck there. And I was pretty lucky cos I really managed to find one.... hahaha.... though it was aboout $10 more, I preferred the design and the overall look.

TADA!!! Presenting my new Digital Weighing Scale :) Looks sleek and chic? Hehehe... Looks ok rite? Hahaha.... I really like it... it comes in red and black but i decided to get the black :)

I'm very happy with my buy and the best thing is that I didnt have to pay for any of my purchase in Giant as I had Capitaland Mall vouchers that I could use there... Woohoo!!! :) We headed off for dinner at Yew Tee and I had YTF (Yong Tau Fu) there... :) Though I only had veg, mushroom and tau kua, I was very full oredi.. surprising hor... :P As we were finishing up, we suddenly heard a man shouting and as we were seated quite far from the sound, we thought that his child got scalded as we heard a child cry.

As we were walkin out, we crossed path with this family and realised that the father had actuali scolded his child which resulted in the crying. As we waited for the lift to the MCP, we realised that he had slapped his child for misbehaving and not bcos anyone got injured. There was quite a crowd there and the father was simply scoldig his son who looked to be about 3-4 yrs old. What's embaressing is that he started scolding his son with words like Fuck..., I give u face u dun wan face.... CB...... how many times must i tell u to keep still n dont run... fucking.... throughout the whole time, he kept using the words Fuck and CB and his sons were so young.

How embaressing can it get I wonder. Not so much for the kid but more on the parents. What kind of impression are u giving others? Aiyoz... reali la... if im a parent, i would never have used such a language in front of the kids not to even mention in public... what would others think man... *peNgz*

Anyway, we got home and after keeping everything, I took out the scale and decided to weigh myself... after 11 days, I was hoping that at least I lost maybe 1-2kg... cos I feel that I still look about the same as before... When i stood on the scale, I realised that I'd lost 4kg!!! Yippy!!! :) At least my efforts hasnt been wasted :) and I feel happy that it's paid off and that I've lost more than I expected. I hope that before the next weigh-in, I'd have lost more.... :)

I also weighed Toby and Tamy and my darling boy is only 6.4kg whilst my pui char bor is 6kg!! Goodness.... to think that I've oredi given more food to Toby and lesser to Tamy.... *siGh* I have to increase more of Toby's intake from now so that he can at least be slightly heavier. I like him with abit more flesh... As for Tamy, she's fleshy enaf and I'd jus maintain her size :) I cant wait for them to meet their frenz tomorrow.... Looking forward to our gathering!~:) I hope the weather would be cool and dry~

~~Bitter Sweet Moments ~~

After almost 5 years, it was time for us to bid farewell to one of the smartest and wittiest lady most of us have ever known. It was a happy yet sad moment espeically for some of us who have been under her wings since our 1st day at work. We thought that 2 months was still a long way but suddenly, yesterday marked Lyn's last day at work!!! AAaarrrgggghhhhh..... :(

She was like a mother hen to most of us. She was always there whenever we needed someone to get help for whenever we encounter difficulties at work, to get advice from, to vent our frustrations or even for gossips or the casual chit chats. She is someone who had a memory of a server with no limits, could multi-task a million things at a time and she could remember almost everything n anything almost instantly. She could also remember what each of us had and she would be able to spot if you had something new on you or if u did something new to yourself.

I will miss her sudden laughter, her explanations, her tons of make-up tt she stashes at home n lugs along with her daily, her cold jokes, her whinning n even her dragging of heels as she walks around the office :)

Anyway, we bought for Lyn her farewell present a day before and we all liked it! :) hehehe.... so LYN!! If u ever come back... u know who likes what color ya... :P we also got her a farewell card that sums up everything that most of us have been muttering since the day we heard that she was leaving us....

Today's the 1st day at work without Lyn and I felt kinda lost... though there are others that we can turn to, somehow it's still different. I miss walkin to her or even emailing her my queries... I miss the almost instant solutions I get and I miss her logical reasonings. I know it takes time to get used to the new situation but most time, time is not the essence at work... *siGh* I pray that the situation would improve and that we will be able to adapt to the new way things are going to be like at work. The shoes that Lyn has left are very big to fill...

We're sad that u've left us and We Miss U lots.... But we will still stay in touch... Wishing you all the very best and may you always be loved and stay happy in whatever you choose to embark on... *HuGz*

On a lighter note, its the weekend oredi!!! Thank god! :) Mr Lee have been working late recently and we haven really had much time together as well as to spend with our babies... so Im hoping to spend more time with the 3 of them this weekend :) And I cant wait to meet my dearies on Sunday when we meet up with our babies!! WooHoo... :)

It's been 10 days since I started my diet and I must say it's been good. Though I'm kinda sick of the method of cooking but... just eat lor... chew & swallow... at times I get sick at the sight of food esp the ones that I have to cook. This Garry isnt helping at times cos he would be cooking instant noodles and eating it in front of me... and there would be sausages, crabmeats, sotong ball and egg. Gggrrr.... my only weakness I realised.... *siGh* I have to have determination and perserverence!!!

On a better note, we have more or less finalised our KL trip over the Labour Day weekend and the best is that Esther & David would be joining us!! It was a v v last minute decision for them but it was David who had decided to come along! Woohoo~ :) So now, there would be Angie, Sengster and Nicky, Priya & Dinesh, Esther & David and us... :) It's gonna be so much fun!!! Hehehe.... On an even better note, I'd booked my next holiday trip!!! YIPPY!!! :) Our destination, BALI :) It was abit of a struggle for me to decide between Bali and Bangkok but I decided to give BKK a miss this year. I still hope to go back to BKK soon... maybe in a year or so? Thank goodness there is still time for planning on where to stay in Bali but I'm getting more n more confused... : Anyone with any good suggestions on where to stay? Drop me a note ya~ :)

We had a mini celebration for Esther today as her birthday falls on Sunday :) And she would be spending her birthday this year in Phuket!!~ So shiok... :) My hopes to follow Garry to Phuket at the end of this month when he goes there for his Sales Conference have been shattered!~ :( Apparently spouse are not allowed to tag along this round... Damn....

Anyway, I bought Esther a mini cake and she had it during lunch :) What's a birthday without a cake rite? Hehehe.... :P

We also had a small gathering in the afternoon as it will be Joey's birthday tomorrow :) Welcome Welcome babe~ This year makes a new chapter for her... not only has she joined the majority of us in age, she will soon be promoted to a Mrs soon... :)

Dinner today was a lonely affair as Mr Lee had to work late once again... which means that I had to make my way home alone... how boring... left office around 7pm, came home, cooked & while I was eating I prepared tmw's Breakfast and Lunch. This is now my daily routine and I'm soon getting the hand of things. Tonight's Menu - Stir fry Xiao Bai Cai with Beef + an orange :)

I managed to finish everything by 9pm and managed to sit back and watch the 9pm show on Channel 8 :) While doing so, I caught the furries in this position... :P Hahah... this girl is forever so lazy... cant even move into her own bed to snooze properly :) She was trying so hard to keep her eyes open while in that position... until she finally gave up and jumped into her own bed where she curled herself up n started snoring away :)

Well, this about marks the end of my 1st week of my dieting. I must say everything is getting on quite well... Thank god I dun get hunger pangs often nor do i feel faint. There isnt any special craving too which is good :) I hope this continues on until I've achieved my goal. I'm looking forward to this weekend... doing some grocery shopping and getting other essential stuff.

It's been a long long while since I last updated my blog and I've had lots of comments and feedback from everyone... why no updates? It's been awhile... Your blog has cobwebs growing... yada yada yada... Reason? Lazy lor... now that I've got my iphone, I've been busy snapping pics n posting it on FB... hahaha.... :)

Update about us... I've been well and Garry's doing great too. The furkids are having a blast as well... :) Though they haven been going for much outings lately due to the festivities, both are really well... Toby has lost some weight as we've decided to change their food portion. Weird that Tamy is still as fleshy as ever... anyway we are substituting some of their meals with HCF and the portion of their dehydrated treats have increased too...

Now that all the festivities are over, I believe that I would have more time updating my blog once again :) Thanks to those who have been popping by and reading about the happenings around me and whatever I have to say~ I'm sorry for the lack of updates but I hope to have more to share with everyone be it the happenings that affect me or the outings that I attend... c",)

CNY came and passed and everythings back in place... I have to say that this CNY has been 1 where I've had the most YuShengs and steamboat sessions. There is always a Loh Hei session at each gathering... I've taken pics over the CNY period and these are some that I would like to share :)

It has always been tradion for us to go back to my parents place on Chu Er before we head of to our friend's place before all of us head back to my parent's plc in the evening. This year is no different :) There were too many people around and I didnt manage to take any photos... :)

The weekend was spent with family at my place and in the evening at my parent's place once again as my uncles and aunts were coming over for a mini gathering~ And so, we Loh Hei-ed once again :)

Shortly after dinner, everyone left as the next day was a working day for them... Garry & myself took leave to relax... :)

Amidst all the gatherings, I also met up with my Dearies after work for dinner @ Kovan :) Upon recommendation by Serene, we headed down to Nakhon Kitchen for Thai food!~ Afterwhich we headed over to Macs! Hahaha.... Sat and ChitChat until pass midnite~ :P

Chinese New Year this year was reali a time for us to get together, gamble (though there wasnt much opportunity) and to eat! We ended our CNY with a birthday dinner for LianHoon @ Pearl River :)

And there was one more final Loh Hei Session there... :)

This about sums up all the going-ons in February... After all the gathering and eating, I've decided to start on my new diet plan. Hahaha... yes u guys heard me right... I'M GOING TO BE ON A STRICT NO CARBS DIET! :)The last time I dieted was before my wedding and I tink it's time for me to start again... :) So far I'm into Day 2 of dieting and it's been good. Not what I had expected and I dont get much hunger pangs too... :)

Thanks to those whom I've spoken to for all the moral suppport and encouragement. As for the rest of you who have yet to eat with me, pls dun be shocked when u see my new meals :) No more soups, no more rice/noodles, no more sweets n all... This round is going to be even more strict compared to the last round. Temptation would not get the better of me... I've done this once before and I'm doing it again...

Apart from losing the weight, I hope that I'll be saving more $ too... heheh... den i can shop more online :P The good thing is that I'll be preparing all the meals from home too.. so no more eating outside :P How long would this go on? It's gonna be indefinate for now. Well it's not too bad actually. I'll still be eating but it would be controlled intake :) So I wont be starving myself and doing things wrongly :P Heheh...
